A simple card doesn't need a lot of embellishing (that's what keeps it clean).  However, a few dashes of "WOW" are always welcome.  So dust off your Crimper and spend a moment with me in today's 1 Minute to "WOW" Video Tutorial.

STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:

  • Stampin up pals paper arts video tutorial day of gratitude I love how Poppy Parade, Pear Pizzazz and Peach Parfait (all from the Stampin' Up! In Colors Collection) mimic the colors of the changing leaves.
  • Curly Cute stamp set offers a bold sentiment that keeps this card in balance.
  • Play with direction.  I experimented with the direction of the leaves until my brain finally said "here's your stop, ma'am!"
  • Each leaf is stamped on a 1 1/2" Whisper White square.

  7. Oh my gosh! I have crimped a lot of things, but I would not have thought of crimping this border! Awesome!

  8. Thanks Mary and thanks for answering the question about how you glued it down! I was wondering too! Great card and loved the video. So, you don’t need to use the punch upside down! I don’t have that one yet but you sure made it look easy to use and I love the crimping! Thanks for sharing!

  9. love the card…that sentiment is delicous!! and dusting off the crimper, yes indeed! it’s a tool i love for a while then forget…then rediscover and love again!! have a great one friend!!

  10. Mary, this idea is amazing. Love these quick, but unique tips for dressing up our projects

  11. Great question! I used Mini Glue Dots (4 or 5) so I wouldn’t need to apply much pressure to the border and mess up the texture. Adhere close to one end and work your way across as you lay down the “ribbon” and adhesive. You may need to trim a tad at the final end. Hugs, Mary

  12. I look forward to your posts everyday! There is always something new and interesting. I’m curious how you adhere that cute little scrunchy strip to your card.
