It's Saturday and who has time to make a complicated card? Today's card is the very essence of clean and simple. It assembled in less than 10 minutes. And look how short the supply list is (below). Woo hoo!
I think Marina Mist adds a thoroughly modern spin on this set! Please let me know what you think with a comment below. I love hearing from you 🙂
STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:
- The sweet set of leaves from the Stampin' Up! Season of Friendship stamp set are quick work when cropped with a 3/4" Circle Punch. The same punch works beautifully with the bird, flower and snowflake from the set, too.
- I love the look of white on white. The sentiment on Whisper White card stock gets a nice boost from Stampin' Dimensionals. Chic and easy.
- I stamped my tree a tad high. Yipes! Two skinny strips of Marina Mist help rebalance the card and give it a unique finish. A good masculine card, in my opinion.

My BDay is in December. lol So pretty and clever. I love it. Hugs,
So pretty, I love blue! It doesn’t look like a 10 minute card!
How do you do it, day after day after day?
Prolly, a little thing called talent.
Great card Mary! I love the Marina Mist and the Black together. This card is definetly a fav. TFS! Your creativity is amazing!
Love this!
Awesome card! As always…
Clean and classy, Mary!
Beautiful CAS cards! Love that blue!
Hi Chris . . . OK, I’ll roll with your suggestion . . . yep, I “planned” it . . . I “plan” many of my cards the same way. LOL. Speaking of the blue. I just created 5 more of these cards for my Pals birthdays. The Cherry Cobbler version was gorgeous (used the flower stamp). Hugs, M
Uber-fabulous Mary! I love, love ,love the idea to punch out the leaves in a circle. Such a clean and simple touch that is perfect for a masculine card. And the little strips at the bottom are a brilliant way to mask the oops! Cheers!
Love it! Now come on Mary, we know you needed a strip of grass under the tree – don’t lie to us about stamping it too high! We know you planned that all along! 🙂 I really liked the blue for a nice change. As always, thanks for sharing your talent with us!
Hello Mary: WOW!!!!! Beautiful, simple, clean and elegant. Perfect for a quick greeting of any kind.

Oh Mary, this is simply gorgeous. I love the clean look in how you did the tree. The blue circles are a nice surprise.
Nice color combo and the white 0n white is so attractive.
Love. Those colors are fantastic. Your card is so clean and fresh!
Stunning card!
I really love this card! It’s so clean and simple – and who would have picked a black and blue tree? Beautiful!
I love the clean and simple look of this card! I’m going to a shoebox swap in a couple of weeks and this would be the perfect type of card for that. I may just have to CASE it. Thanks for the inspiration! Enjoy the weekend!
You are so clever and the colors are beautiful together!
I love the clean look of all your cards Mary. You do such wonderful work.

Beautiful card Mary, I am so glad you did this tree today, for when this stamp first came out you did some amazing things with it and so I brought the stamp, but as of yet have not used it :)..
