My Top 10 Holiday Mini Favorites

The new Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini Catalog (click to download) is now available.  There are so many fabulous new products to try.  Narrowing the field to My Top 10 Favorites wasn't easy. I rounded up the following items that I feel really define what makes this mini so special.

What are your favorites?  Leave me a comment at the end of this post.  I would love to hear 🙂

1.  Most Versatile:

Day of Gratitude (WM 120835 $26.95,  CM 121148 $18.95).  Works year round. Stunning, crisp images.  Click for sample.

Flurry (120902, $7.95) Textured Impressions Embossing Folders.  Big
bang for the buck.  I buy all the Stampin' Up! embossing folders.  Click for Spider Web sample.

stamps, designer series
paper, Big Designer Buttons and fabric.  A convenient and simplified way
to shop.  Vintage Christmas sample.  Candy Cane Christmas sample.

Bright Christmas (WM

the Halls (120810, $9.95) or Candy Cane (Specialty) Designer Series
Paper (120809, $11.95), you can kick start your holiday cards in a
flash.  Bright Christmas Sample.

6.  Punch It Up:

Decorative Label Punch Extra Large (120907, $16.95).  I
have sung the praises for this punch all through my August sneak peeks.
It's the ideal way to frame a sentiment.  Layer other punch shapes on top for
serious pizzazz.  Decorative Label sample.

7.  Holiday  Essential:

Tags til Christmas (WM 120847 $30.95,  CM 121169
$22.95)  Great for holiday tags but also adds a charming touch to cards
and 3-D.  How about creating cool place cards?  Tags til Christmas sample.

8.  Traditional Christmas:

Rejoicing in

religious holiday theme, this set offers crisp graphics and look
smashing heat embossed in silver or gold.

9.  Best New Product:

Joyful Season Letterpress (120981, $5.95)
Yeah, baby.  Start cranking out (literally) your holiday cards with a
clean,  inked debossed look.  TIP:  Works best with craft ink and Watercolor Paper (105019).

10. Puttin' On the Glitz:

Glimmer Brads (any color) add instant
glam to any project.  I'm a "neatnik" so relish in the fact that there's
no glitter mess.  Glimmer Brads sample.

  1. Seeing your beautiful Greeting Card Kids vintage sample makes me realize I must have that set for my own collection. They are just too cute!

  2. I love so many things, but I believe my fave would have to be the snowflake and spider web embossing folders!

  3. Hi Mary, always fun to see your lists. Definitely the top for me is the Decorative Label punch, followed closely by the Cherry Cobler seam binding tape. Lots of lovely stamp sets and papers as well, of course, but those two top my list.

  4. I love so many things, but I’ll narrow it down to the Decorative Label punch and the glittery brads!!! Gotta have them.

  5. Good evening Mary,
My ALL TIME favorite is the Christmas Collage, I am going to try to do it white on white and make it somehow looked antiqued.
I also love the Halloween Dark and Dreary, can’t wait to make scrapbook pages for my nieces and nephew with that.
The spider web, snowflake and OOOOOOOHHHHHHHLALALALALAA
the glass glitter…I have some and it is BEAAAUUUUUUUTIFUL!!!!!

  6. Mary, I LOVE your list. Unfortunately, I would need a Top 12 list since Jolly Old Saint Nick (SU’s BEST Santa in many, many years) and Glitter Glass MUST be included!

Thank you for ALL your wonderful inspiration!

  7. I LOVE Day of Gratitude and the new XL Decorative Label punch. All the fabric is exciting, but that just opens up a new door that I’m not sure I want to enter now….I don’t have anymore drawers or shelves to put more stuff on! Then again, it’s not supposed to go in drawers or on shelves….a project should come of it!

  9. Some of your favorites are definitely on my list, but I love, love, love the old-fashioned and timeless sweetness of the Jolly Old Saint Nick set. I haven’t figured out what my holiday card is going to look like yet (I instantly fell in love with Greeting Card Kids when I saw them in the new catalog, and the little girl pulling the sled with the Christmas Tree on it could go well with the Northern Flurry embossing folder – guess I’m big on the vintage look right now!), but Jolly Old Saint Nick could be used whenever – that’s the beauty of being timeless! And that sweet old snowman is cute, to boot!
