No Slide Ribbon Video Tutorial

Stampin up long fellows dog

And they call it Poppy Love . . . This sweet little bowser was dipped In Poppy Parade and stamped on Whisper White card stock.  He looks quite dashing on this long and skinny card (5 3/4" x 3 1/4").  A few embellishments later and you have a Simple Saturday card.

Today's Stampin' Pretty Tip comes to you in the form of a video tutorial.  Discover how to keep your ribbon from sliding on your cards with a simple technique.  I originally learned how to do this several years ago after watching a video tutorial by Michelle Single called the Stay Put Bow.  It's always been my favorite way to anchor my knots and bows.

I mixed and matched colors (and Glimmer Brads) using these cute stamps
from Long Fellows (Hostess Level 2).  Did you know that you earn hostess

  1. Thanks for sharing this technique, Mary! I have to admit thought that I couldn’t make it to the end of your video. For some reason your camera angle made me feel dizzy!

  9. Thanks for sharing this ribbon tying tip – I’ve never done it this way before!
I love the new glimmer brads too – I kind of overlooked them in the catty so it’s nice to see them used by someone and now I have to order a set (or two!).
On a personal note I’m happy to tell you that my hair is now a decent style length (check out my blog for recent photo). Thanks for all your support and well wishes!
