Itty Bitty Mojo Magic

Stampin up stampin pretty blog mojo monday

SDC14593-1Little Stampin' Up! punches can translate card stock into a great, big WOW!  The punched hearts, flowers and circles combine to produce their own patterns.  And, ooh la la . . . the Basic Jewels Pearls (hooray for these new stick-ons) are nothing short of exquisite.

Mojo153Sketch

Notice anything different about this week's Mojo Monday Sketch (MOJO153)?  I contributed the sketch design and am doing the happy dance in anticipation of seeing the direction you take it!

STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:

  • Stampin up itty bitty shapes punch pack broadsheet alphabetSquares popped out using the Stampin' Up! 1 1/4" Square Punch layer perfectly over the Scallop Square Punch.  I adhered them with Stampin' Dimensionals for a little 3-D action.

  • Have you ever laid eyes on a more glorious "U?"  The Broadsheet Alphabet stamp set promises to give delightful character to every letter of the alphabet.  There's a coordinating accent set to make it even more versatile.  Broadsheet Accents sold separately.
  • SDC14592-2 NEW PRODUCT ALERT!  Is it time for the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini Catalog yet?  Well, it will be on Sept. 1 along with the opportunity to purchase the Candy Cane Big Designer Buttons collection.  Colors include Blushing Bride (used on my card), Garden Green, Baja Breeze and Real Red.

    1. I love your blog and the wood mount stamps as well. When I stamp at a friend’s house, I find it irritating to have to go through my stamp sets and choose the correct clear block. I usually forget something, so I’ll stick to my wood!

    3. Hi, Mary. I have a mild preference for clear mount stamps since they are easier to store. Wood mounted stamps are more difficult to “misplace” on my work surface though!! Your creativity is inspirational. I look forward to checking your site on a daily basis.

    4. Mary – I enjoy both the rubber mounted and clear mount, but love the clear mount, a little more because it doesn’t take up as much room – and because it has the pics of them stamps on the end of containers. Love your cards by the way!! Give me inspiration.

    7. Great card and lovely layout. I have a pack of those Big Buttons and wasn’t sure what to use them for – I thought they were too big for a card front you proved me wrong with your amazing creativity. Thanks Mary!

    8. Love your sketch and your card! Don’t know if I’ll have time to play today since I’m at work and then have to finish packing tonight for my trip. I leave first thing in the morning. But I’m keeping your sketch in my Idea File for future use. It’s terrific!

    14. Hi Wendy:

If card stock scraps can accommodate a small punched sentiment, I’m likely to keep it. I have a hard time parting with my scraps and DO typically find ways to use even the little guys.

      Thank you for your question.

I have a question what is the smallest piece of card stock or designer paper that you keep. Can’t wait to see the organizing tutorial. My best, Wendy
