I have lots of pictures to share today. Check out how easy it is to create a pretty background using the large Clear Block (Clear Block F) with Stampin' Up! Clear Mount stamps. The Curly Cute sentiment set makes it's debut on my blog, too. It was on My New Catalog Gotta Have It List for it's clean design and gorgeous font. It looks simply divine stamped on Vellum.
Let's start at the beginning, however. I used the Stampin' Up! Color Coach to get up close and personal with the cardigan that inspired today's card. Picking pinks was a snap.
I grabbed Awash with Flowers (a splashy set to "fake" a water colored image) and "loaded" several stamps exactly where I wanted them on my large clear block (Clear Block F). No more guessing on placement. This is one of the many benefits of using Clear-Mount Stamps.

Up! Clear Mount Stamps.
STAMPIN' PRETTY TIP:
Remember my Three Second Rule. Hold the clear mount stamp on
the block for three full seconds so that it has a chance to bond. It
will grab with determination this way.
Here's what the image looks like on Blushing Bride card stock after I inked the stamps in Jet Black Stazon (my favorite black for crisp line images). Note: the Blushing Bride card stock in the photo below looks a little wonky . . . I shot the picture in my stamping zone without my photography lights. It's really not that peachy.
I added repeat images to complete the background. Consider Whisper White Craft Ink as an option for the solid images. I love the powdery finish on this modern design.

I like the acrylic blocks for placement also. I thought the floral placement came out very well. Thanks for mentioning the White Craft Ink. I, too, like the powdery finish.
Such a lovely card, Mary! Gorgeous stamped background and love the vellum sentiment.

Wow! I love how you made such a pretty background!
Love the idea to make your own background with multiple stamps – a pretty in pink beauty!
I had never thought of using more than one stamp at a time to do background. Also love the Funky Four, it will be a fun set. Thank you for shearing, you have style and class, WOW!!!!
Very pretty pink on pink.
