Sneak Peek Day 4: Homemade

Stampin pretty blushing bride fancy favor bigz die

Let's explore Day 4 of my Sneak Peeks from the Stampin' Up! 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog!  I have had a weakness for mini cards lately . . . they are so adorable paired up with small treat boxes or this Stampin' Up! Fancy Favor Box.

STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:

  • Stampin pretty apple blossoms clear mount stamp LEAF TRICK:  After embossing Old Olive Card Stock with my Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, I cropped out a 1 1/4" Circle.  I then fed a portion of the circle back into the 1 1/4" Circle Punch (viewing from the bottom so I could see where I was cropping) and chomped out a leaf.  Neat!
  • Vellum is a classy way to display this sentiment from Apple Blossoms (Hostess Level 2, new catalog).  Bend around the card stock and adhere behind if you don't want any gunky adhesive to show through.
  • I'm a big fan of the Stampin' Up! single stamps.  New to the single stamp line-up (beginning July 1) is Homemade (and it's "to die for").  I popped out a trio of cupcakes from Itty Bitty Bits stamp set using the Itty Bitty Shapes Circle Punch.  Both "itty bitties" are available now from the Summer Mini Catalog.
  • New Stampin' Up! Products List (available 7/1):  Homemade, Apple Blossoms
(Hostess Level 2), Early Espresso and Blushing Bride Card Stock, Early
Espresso Classic Ink, 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch, Early Espresso 1/8"
    Taffeta Ribbon
