Stampin up because i care tag punch It's time for another Pals Paper Arts Challenge (PPA47).  This week's theme is summer.  Frankly, I had to look up hydrangeas to confirm that they bloom in summer . . . but was thrilled to learn that this lovely hydrangea card would qualify.

  • For a little flowery fun, I stamped and snipped out (with my Paper Snips) a tiny flower stamp from the Because I Care set.  When layered on the larger flower, it creates beautiful dimension–almost like popcorn.
  • A Signo White Gel Pen added to the petals and Whisper White Craft Ink added to the edges of the top Sahara Sand layer add depth.

    Love your card and the hydrangea are starting to bloom in New England and they are beautiful. I made a hydrangea card from the triple flower punch and it was really cute

  21. What really sets your cards apart Mary is the attention to detail. The 3-D effect with the gel pen highlighting makes this image pop. And the linen thread grounds the image beautifully. Gorgeous card!
