Star Struck

Stars have been my "go to" shape lately.  They offer the clean geometry I adore for masculine cards.  I originally created this card for Splitcoastampers.com, when I was on

• The Movers & Shapes XL Die, Magnetic Star and my Big Shot Die-Cut Machine together cut a perfect A2 card (4 1/4" by 5 1/2") with the star cropped and the score line set–all in one "ride."  Click here for my Movers & Shapers  Video Tutorial.
• The star "window" cut by the Movers & Shapes Magnetic Star Die is slightly larger than the Stampin' Up! Star Punch.  This leaves a cool outline around the punched star from the outside and a clever preview of what's inside.
• Autumn Traditions Designer Series Paper isn't just for fall projects.  This clean stripe is delightful for a "no frills" birthday card.
