Presto Patterns Specialty Paper

Stampin up favorite thoughts summer mini catalog

The look and feel of embossing without the effort . . . that's what Stampin' Up!'s new Presto Patterns Specialty Designer Series Paper (Summer Mini Catalog, p. 15) is all about.  The vintage patterns offer glossy designs and "presto," come to life with the addition of ink or the new Smooch Spritz product (Summer Mini Catalog, p. 15).

  • Stampin up presto patterns specialty designer series paper Apply ink to the Presto paper with sponges, brayer, Aqua Painter and more.  I used a brayer and Soft Suede Ink to "reveal" the floral pattern.
  • The Favorite Thoughts sentiment is clever and feminine–perfect for my 20-something niece's birthday.
  • The "crowning" touches are from the Tiny Tags* stamp set . . . including both the crowns and the touch of floral on the sentiment (amazing how this one coordinates with the Presto paper).

Thus it came to pass that we had some good friends round for Christmas lunch last year. Well, I say lunch… but it started at about 3pm and finished sometime around 8, after which we played games and drank port till midnight. Needless to say, by the time Boxing Day rolled around, there were some bleary-eyed guests and we were in need of a restorative breakfast that didn’t dirty much more than one pan (seeing that everything else was already dirty from the nght before!). This delicious one-pan fry up was just the dish. It is a great way to use up almost anything in your fridge too!

  2. Your niece will love this card… I sure do. Hugs,

  3. Nice to see that paper in action…I have been thinking about trying it out…Really cute!

  4. You rock…as usual!!! I didn’t see these or at least didn’t notice them in the mini…I will be trying these out! Thanks girl!

  5. Cute card, Mary! I’m sure your niece will adore it!
