Trading CASE’S

As I was eyeballing Tami's treat cup lion, she was digging my treat cup sunflower (above, previously posted on Stampin' Pretty).  That's when we decided it was time to try "trading CASE's."  CASE means Copy And Share Everything.  How fun!  View my post with the Stampin up sweet treat lion close up Get out!  The lion's tail started out as the stem from the Extra Large Two Step Bird Punch.  The ears are parts of the wings!  All punched lion parts are identified in the recipe below.

  • I didn't have any "googlie eyes."  As an alternative, I used a 1/4" Circle Punch (a hole punch works as well) with Whisper White and the large opening on my Crop-A-Dile punch to chomp out the Soft Suede pupil.
  • Smart girl . . . Tami showed me that you only remove the adhesive from part of the treat cup when assembling.  THEN add the candy and finish adhering.  You would love to see the gymnastics I have done to accomplish this "my way" before seeing Tami in action.
  • The Soft Suede mane was created with the Scallop Circle Punch.  Crop the scallop circle and then reinsert it in the punch.  Using a touch of Dotto (repositionable adhesive) in the center of the card stock you can maneuver the punch with your finger, turn slightly and recrop to make the pointy medallion.
