Luscious Lavender

Lavender lace

It was such an honor to be part of the Splitcoaststampers
Dirty Dozen Design Team
.  Each month I had the opportunity to
create and share among stampers I respect and revere.  The above card is one
of six I created and originally seen in the September gallery on
Splitcoaststampers.  I now can share them with you on my blog.

  • Stamping Versamark or ink on matching cardstock creates a soft and pretty "original" designer paper.  The butterfly is from the Stampin' Up! Dreams du Jour set.
  • For a more realistic garden, I stamped off some of the blooms so they would be lighter.
  • Tags on cards are hot, hot, hot!  You can use the Small Oval Punch to create a quick, little cutie.
  • No pounding allowed!  Set an eyelet quietly with a handy Crop-A-Dile.

Sale-A-Bration, Stampin' Up!'s biggest promotion of the year, ends March 31.  Take advantage of all the available stamp sets and accessories (over 80), free as gifts with every $50 in product you spend.  Stay tuned for my "simple" Sale-A-Bration samples and another blog candy contest.  Woo hoo!

  4. LOLing at “no pounding allowed”! Can you talk to my mom for me? She has a crop-a-dile but won’t give up her manual spring-action thingies and somehow always needs to set eyelets at nap time!!

  5. Mary, this card is just gorgeous. I was so debating to whether get this set or not…You always inspire me to create more.

  11. Sooo pretty! you did such a good job making the lavender look realistic. I know, I have an herb garden outside my backdoor and I have a lot of lavender growing in it. I open my windows and get a whiff with every breeze. I am so ready for flowers and butterflies and birds, can you tell!!
