This sunny bloom was originally created for the Splitcoaststampers Fan Club as part of my Dirty Dozen gig last fall. You may have seen this 5 1/4 square card if you are a fan club member. However, for many of you, it will be your first peek :) This card was one of my favorite uses of a Stampin' Up! Sweet Treat Cup.
- The petals are Large and Small Oval Punches of More Mustard card stock. The edges were sponged in Chocolate Chip for depth.
- I used a 1 3/4" Circle Punch to clip the base of each petal so it would fit around the Treat Cup.
- Aren't the Chocolate only M & M's perfect?
- The sentiment is from Bella's Bloom, one of the free stamp set options for qualifying Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration orders. Click here for Sale-A-Bration details.
- Don't forget the envies! Stampin' Up! offers Sweet Treat Padded Envelopes (116911, $2.95 for 3 envelopes) to make sending a breeze.

I just love this card. So much so, I am doing it as M&T for our Autism Crop in April.
Could you tell me the dimensions? I know it will not fit on a “normal” size card front.
I went through your site and found so many lovely things. Thank you so much for sharing them!
Dolly
outstanding! the time it took you to creat that! love the chocolate only m&m’s…then again, i’d love chocolate only ANYTHING! very nice!
Beautiful card! Love the big flower and the color combo!
I love this card. I always look forward to seeing your posts.
very very cute mary!
Amazing! I just love it! Wish I was the lucky recipient of the card! You just totally amaze me with your talent! How about a tutorial on making this? Seems others have questions too. Thanks so much for sharing. I just might have to get some of those little treat cups that I have been resisting. Love your March banner for your blog as well
Hi Chris: Thank you so much for your feedback on the card. I’m a black eyed susan fanatic (remember them growing in the fields where I grew up).
There really isn’t too much to teach for a tutorial . . . I used the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch on the ends of the petals to clip about 1/4″ (just eyeballed the same distance each time). Since the treat cup is designed to work with the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch, the arc on each petal was a perfect fit. I had to play a bit to get them spaced correctly . . . but all in all not too difficult.
Hugs, Mary
Mary: congrats on another beautiful card. When I tired the link to split coast stamper I received a message which stated I did not have permission to see the gallery. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi Heather: The Fan Club gallery requires a small membership fee . . . that helps support Splitcoast. This is why the link isn’t working for you. You can either sign up or wait a few months, at which point I can share them with the public on my blog.
Hugs, M
Truly darling, Mary.
thanks for the great idea.

Thanks for sharing this idea. I was just thinking of staring using my treat cups, what great inspiration!
Mary – I am so impressed not only with your beautiful card creation, but also your website – the green Shamrock and shamrocks in all the dots in your awning. I noticed the hearts last month and wasn’t sure if they had always been there! You are terrific!
What a darling card, but how much of the petals do you punch with the 1 3/4 punch to fit around the cup. It seems like such a big punch to use. I know you use that size for the cup to fit in, but I am just confused on the petal part. If you get a chance, can you let me know.
Thanks,
Susan
Hi Susan: I sure appreciate your kind words.
I clipped about 1/4″ of the base of the petal with the 1 3/4″ punch. They fit perfectly around the treat cup. Hugs, M
Beautiful job, Mary. How did you ever get each oval cut perfectly to fit around the cup?
Mike
