Whenever I use the Stampin' Up! Build-A-Bear dies, I feel like a kiddo assembling paper dolls. It's great fun to mix and match designer paper, clothing and accessories. Each card today makes a "fashion statement" and is personalized for my grandnieces, Melina and Eleni. Let's start with Melina's card today. I'll share Eleni's details tomorrow.
STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:
- A light bulb moment for me! I realized I could snip out the house from Welcome Neighbor Designer Series (a Sale-A-Bration free gift) and "open" the door. It's the perfect scale next to my bear for a play house.
- Layering over the Top Note Die (in Bermuda Bay Textured Card Stock), gives a zippy contrast.
- Small designer series prints work beautifully to mirror fabric. To dress my bear, I used a wee heart pattern from Welcome Neighbor Designer Series Paper (shirt) and a polka dot from Bermuda Bay Designer Series (skirt).
- Need a quick hat? I adhered Large and Small Ovals of Pumpkin Pie card stock with a couple Stampin' Dimensionals. A flower (Boho Blossoms Punch) and bling (Circle Rhinestone Brad), complete the look.
- Get a big, bold monogram with Stampin' Up!'s Exclusive Alphabet Simple Bigz Dies. I cut my "m" twice. First in Welcome Neighbor paper and second in On Board Chipboard. Precise fit and 3-D vavoom!

These are just too adorable! I have not gotten any BAB stuff yet, but I think you just pushed me over the edge!
My niece (she just turned 2) is a huge fan of Single Ladies. You should see her dance…she knows all the moves! 🙂
Hugs!
I KNOW the M card would look wonderful on my desk at work 🙂 xx You continue to amaze me 🙂
Darling Bears!
I did not think it was possible, but I think I love you a little bit more today after this “single ladies” card! What a cute idea, and I LOVE all the details! You are one detail-oriented mama! I honestly never ever thought that I would ever purchase any Build-a-Bear items, but now you make me want to buy some dies… your creations are adorable! I know you didn’t go into the details of Eleni’s card today, but I love how you incorporated the Pinking Hearts punch on the bear’s sweater. I could go on and on….. but this is getting quite long for a comment! 🙂
Hooray for Hazel:
I read every comment and enjoy every word. Thanks. Mary
If you like it, then you’d better put a ring on it….oh, oh, oh…catchy song!!! And super cute bears Mary!
very cute!! 🙂
“oh, oh, oh ” so cute!!

I love your “single lady” cards. You definitely know how to step your cards up. Very nice!!! Cheryl
oh my g-d mary, these are the most precious bears i have ever seen in my life!!!!
I love your ladies… how cute. Love that hat!!! I love to use punches to make other things. Hugs,
S~W~E~E~T cards!!
Love those lightbulb moments – the house is adorable next to the bear – and with a door that opens no less! Using the initials is great – too cute!
CUTE!!
Love the bright colors… unbearably adorable.
Those bears are really stylin’! Very cute!
Mary, this is so sweet! I love those ladies and the colors on the cards are wonderful!
Stop it, stop it, stop it! I cannot fall in love with the BABs! I do not have any friends or relatives who would like a card with these cuties and I’d be taking up time playing with the bears instead of creating “serious cards”. Wait, is that a bad thing?
(Love those single ladies!)
Hi Chellie: Honestly, I bought them for ME and am proud of it, Babe. There are lots of ways to share them . . . they aren’t just for little girls (or boys, if you use the rest of the die cuts). Perfect for birthday or a get well (maybe with them holding flowers) for just about any age. Have I convinced you yet?
Hugs, M
very creative ideas, thanks
