So Shelli . . .

SDC11844 Never in my wildest dreams did I picture myself as a stamper and even crazier yet, as a Stampin' Up! career demonstrator.  It's been a fun and fascinating ride for the last couple years–the most satisfying "work I have ever had in so many ways.  I love what I do and get as excited about new products and techniques today as I did the first day I caught "stamping fever."

One of the many perks I have experienced through Stampin' Up! was attending Founder's Circle.  Career demonstrators from across the U.S. were treated to a stay in gorgeous St. George, UT. I had the chance to meet and mingle with Shelli Gardner, co-founder and CEO of Stampin' Up!  She participated in our swap, pajama party and and is as passionate about stamping as the rest of us.

Here's Shellis' lovely and simple swap card  (for inquiring minds, it was created with "Of the Earth" Hostess Level 1 Stamp Set 115336, and French Filigree, 113742 ).  Note how she layered the stamps on patterned Bella Bleu Designer Series Paper (113974).  Tr?s chic!

  1. Hi Natalie: Thank you for your questions. I’m going to email you to answer in more detail. For the record, you can drop at any time and keep your starter kit stamps and products and anything else you ordered with the discounts while active. If you join now, you will be active thru the first FULL quarter, which is June 30. The extension is due to the fact that we have already begun the first quarter and March 30 won’t be a full quarter. That kicks things out to the second quarter ending June 30. If your sales total reaches $300 by June 30, you will remain active thru Sept. 30, the next FULL quarter. If you are active at the time of convention, you can attend convention. Starting, stopping and restarting as an active demo is a process and there are rules . . . I will go thru that with you more in my email. My entire group is virtual and we stay very connected. I provide strong virtual support to my group, including one-on-one counseling by phone or Skype. Here’s a link with more details. http://www.stampinpretty.com/join-my-virtual-demo-grou.html Hugs, M

  2. HI Mary, I have a couple questions, if you don’t mind answering them. I am seriously considering buying the starter kit during sale-a-bration. I would be a hobby/ just getting the discount for the starter kit type demonstrater. For a while at least. I am an army spouse and we are moving really soon. So I will be too busy to do anything more than that right now. In a couple years though I may want to be a more active demonstrater.

Here are a few of my questions.
    1. Can I activate and deactivate at any time? Can I do it as often as I want? To reactive do I only need to make the 300 dollar minimum for a quarter? While I am deactivated, can I still make small purchases through myself? Or would I need to reactivate with a big purchase in order to make any other purchases?

    2. If I activate during sale-a-bration and stay active during the convention time period, can I go to convention? Can I activate around convention time each year and just go as long as I am active at that time?

    3. If I ever decide to start working harder at it, I will need someone that can mentor me from afar. We move around a lot with the army and I never know where I will be next. I think I saw on your site that you deal with your downline through the internet. Can you tell me more about that?

Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions.
