This card was sent to cowboy, Poly Mendoza, who broke his leg during a rodeo performance for Stampin' Up! demonstrators at Leadership in Phoenix, earlier this month. If there's one thing Stampin' Up! demonstrators know how to do, it's share their well wishes through cards. I'm sure Poly has received plenty of "fan" mail and is "knitting" nicely.
- Don't have Serene Snowflakes? Consider Fine Flourish, a new single stamp in the Occasions Mini Catalog (p. 42 and on the right). It's gawjus!
- Stampin' Up! To The Nines Specialty Designer Series Paper is one of my favorites for masculine cards. The patterns remind me of men's ties. To see more of my masculine card samples, CLICK HERE.
- To add a little "wow" to a sentiment, try layering shapes. I cropped "get well wishes" with the Small Oval Punch and layered it over a Modern Label Punch of Sage Shadow card stock.
- Those little epoxy brads are "bling extraordinaire!" They are only available in the Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini Catalog (along with Pretty in Pink and Real Red epoxy brads, sold separately).

Hi Martha: It’s just the stamp cropped with the 1/2″ Circle Punch 🙂 Hugs, M
Great question. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait and see. Stampin’ Up! hasn’t given us any indication on if the single stamps will be offered in both wood and clear-mount. I sure hope so. I’m now a die hard clear-mount stamp girl! Hugs, M
That is a WOW card! And thanks for the substitution idea.
beautiful card!! very striking and rich!!
so pretty!
Such a easy card. I have that flourish stamp and will use it.
LOVE this DSP. I need it! Also, your layout is super!

Mary, thanks for another great guy card!
Great card Mary!! As the snow is currently falling – I couldn’t muster up juices for something wintery! Like you all the ‘wintery’ sets have been moved to the back. Bring on SPRING 🙂
I just ordered Fine Flourish…can’t wait to try this…great layout!
Terrific card… I love all those details. Hugs,
A snowflake as only you can do it! Gorgeously modern 🙂
Love your “modern” snowflake, Mary! Very elegant.
Love this! The colors are fabulous!
The snowflake goes uptown – very classy!
What a great card! I love the snowflake!
Great masculine card! I love the color choices.
This is just beautiful, love the colors, and the image is lovely.
Great card! Love the non-traditional use of the snowflake—more mileage from typically seasonal stamps.
I’m glad you dug out your Serene Snowflakes stamp. This card is gorgeous! I love your layout and colors.
It was nice to chat with yesterday. Thanks for all the helpful information.
Have a great day,
Pam~
i was wondering if the stamps in the catalog (the big one) will be available in the clear stamp choice as well? Thank you
Great masculine card. I bet Poly is enjoying it! I like the little center circle inside the snowflake but, I can’t make out what it is, brad, punch? Paper and colors are perfect!
