Mojo Monday Flower Folds

Stampin up mojo monday three little words

Woo hoo!  It's Mojo Monday time and this week's Mojo inspiration sketch (MOJO120) was designed by fellow Mojomaker Teresa Kline.  My card is loaded with products from the new Occasions Mini.  I grabbed the new Scallop Trim Border Punch (a free Sale-A-Bration gift) for the Taken with Teal border.

Stampin up fancy favor bigz die

Today's fresh and festive card is destined for my husband's Grandmother Rosella, ready to turn 101 next week. She has quite a sweet tooth, so I tucked some Cherry Cordial Kisses in a Fancy Favor Box.

STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:
  • Stampin up mojo monday flower folds big shot die The Occasions Mini introduces two new shades of Corduroy Buttons, Real Red and Pretty in Pink.  Real Red provides the perfect pop on my big flower
  • One of my favorite tricks is to cut a sliver of matching cardstock, slip it through the button and carefully tie.  Very custom and polished. Great for using scraps!
  • "Thinking of you" in Real Red is tucked inside as the second half of the sentiment "Three little Words. . ."
  • Flower Folds Bigz XL Die whips up delightful paper blooms in seconds.  It can do the same for fabric, vinyl, leather or even thin tin.

Hi Sujata: One of these days I need to post my “early years.” You’ll then see talent comes with practice–not genetics. Hugs, M

  5. Mary…I “just” commented on SCS that these were so “not” my colors…..I completely take that back! This is gorgeous!! The juxtaposition is brilliantly done, patterns are so complimentary and textures yummy. Geesh…you are so good at converting the unconverted! TFS

Hi Samara: I love to experiment and am not afraid of color . . . however, my trash bin often sees more “results” than you will on the blog. LOL. Hugs, Mary
