I'm ecstatic!  Over the past few years, there has been enormous demand from
demonstrators and customers alike for a line of repositionable
clear-mount stamps. Well, you asked for it, and now you have it!
Starting with stamps in the 2010 Occasions Mini Catalog and the 2010 Sale-A-Bration Brochure, Stampin? Up! now offers our exclusive stamp art in both traditional wood-mount, and the new clear-mount option.  The customer sales period begins Jan. 5.

Our new clear-mount stamps are the result of extensive research with
the intent to maintain the very best image quality in the stamping
industry, while at the same time offering the ease-of-use and
storability inherent in repositionable clear-mount stamps.

Clear-Mount Features

  • Nine different sizes of clear blocks available individually or as a discounted bundle.
  • Blocks have ergonomic grooves on all four sides for easy grip and traditional wood-mount feel.
  • Stamps and blocks are durable and easy to clean with your Stampin? Scrub and Stampin' Mist.
  • Optional image labels on stamp backs let you decide if you want to see the image through the block or not.
  • Tight die-cutting for easy image positioning.
  • Large clear blocks can be used to create collages or spell words with alphabet sets.
  • Stamps store easily in standard, DVD-type cases with artwork on front and spine, making organization easy.

My pre-ordered Occasions Mini and Sale-A-Bration clear mount stamps are on the way.  I can't wait to play with them and share the results!

GIFT CERTIFICATES!  Let me create custom gift certificates (redeemable thru me) for you to give OR receive this holiday (splendid timing for the Occasions Mini and Sale-A-Bration releases on Jan. 5).

  1. Heavenly Day! I’ve been hoping… I asked Santa for a L Letterpress for Christmas and I just KNOW I can use SUp’s whole line of clear stamps with it. Nobody tell me otherwise.

So, Shelli, get cranking. I need more designs.

    Hi Karren:

I’m elated about the clear mount stamps. Speaking of Shelli, she will be on the Today Show today regarding Stampin’ Up!’s charitable efforts. Hugs, Mary

  2. Finally!! It’s about time—what the heck took them so long? Yea!

  3. I am very glad to hear that, I am running out of space for all my stamps. I love the CD storage cases save so much room. Pat

  4. Finally!! My husband won’t be so happy, but I am 🙂

  5. Does anybody know if once you stick these stamps to the clear block it is permenant (like wood mount?) I read in the mini that they are repositionable. Not sure, but it sounds like the sets don’t come with blocks and you have to buy them seporatley??! So confused! Please help, SU! hasn’t gotten back to me!!

Hi Laura: The stamps are not permanent on the blocks. They are repositionable, peel off clear blocks and go into CD style cases. You can put a number of clear stamps on one block . . . very cool combinations possible. SU Blocks are sold as a bundle or individually. SU Demo Support is available M -F from 7a to 7p MT. Be sure to call them for instant information. Hugs, M

WOW!!! I can’t wait to use them. I’m looking forward to your postings!

    Thanks,

  7. Whoopee!!! I think Stampin Up finally listened to what the customers want. Storage solution solved, we can buy more stamp sets and save some room at the same time. Love it! Since these are the acrylic stamps, I’m thinking they should be a little cheaper than the wooden ones and we can save more so we can buy more. lol

Hi Sandy: They will be cheaper than the wood mount since the clear blocks will be sold separately (but reusable). However, please note that the stamps are not acrylic. They are still red rubber for the best coverage. They are cropped extra close, come with images to place on top (to see the stamp through the clear block) and will be divine for storage. Hugs, M

  8. Wow, as usual, this is the first site I’ve seen this posted on. I especially appreciate your listing of the clear mount features. I learned some new ideas from that.

  9. This, THIS, is the very thing that will finally make me a loyal SU customer. I have never liked working with the stamps because I’m just not handy enough when I can’t see through them. I was always sad about this because the stamp sets are beautiful, but I just knew I wouldn’t be happy with them! FINALLY!!! Now I’ll really be looking forward to some good demo deals, so I can sign up to be a hobby demo, maybe this spring!

Hi Britni: I love our rubber stamps but agree that having clear mount (note: they aren’t clear acrylic stamps–they are our wonderful red rubber on clear mount blocks and die cut close) and being able to see through the blocks (there’s an image you can add to the stamp to “see” through), reposition, combine, storage advantages . . . I’m absolutely thrilled. Hugs, M
