Sneak Peek: Garden from the Heart

Stampin up garden from the heart bella toile

Stampin' Up! really spoiled me (and 100+ other demonstrators) at Founder's Circle in St. George, UT.  One of the the surprises on my hotel bed when I returned home in the evening was a beautiful new stamp set called Garden from the Heart (available in the Occasions Mini, Jan. 2010).  Since inquiring stamper minds want to know . . . I thought I would share a sneak peek in the form of today's card.

STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:

  • Stampin up garden from the heart martha stewart living I was inspired by the colors and design of the wallpaper pattern from this Martha Stewart Living magazine. Rich Razzleberry and Crushed Curry were just "the thing."
  • To add the soft white accents of the bedroom paper, I used a Signo White Gel Pen on the hat and Bella Toile background.  There's no artistic science to this and it looks prettier with every wiggle or dot you add.
  • The bird from the sentiment was stamped a second time on Crushed Curry (Rich Razzleberry ink) and snipped out with Paper Snips.  It's adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I also snipped the hat ribbon and adhered it separately.
  • Rich Razzleberry Textured card stock makes a luxurious card base (5 1/4"' x 5 1/4").
  • Stampin' Up!'s Whisper White Medium Square Envelopes (5 1/2" x 5 1/2")  work perfectly with this card size.  I added Rich Razzleberry Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap for a coordinating polish.
  • My sketch was based on Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge (WSC100).
