Mojo Monday 107 Dasher

Stampin up mojo monday 107 dasher
Are you ready to Mojo?  I'm plucking away at my Christmas cards and thought this Mojo Monday layout (MOJO107) was begging to spend time with the Stampin' Up! Dasher stamp.  This single stamp is both beautiful and budget friendly at $8.95 (116816, p. 208).

STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:
  • Stampin up mojo monday petals a plenty Petals-A-Plenty Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (Stampin' Up!
    Holiday Mini Catalog
) is responsible for the gorgeous texture on the Close to Cocoa card stock.
  • I used the Circle Scissor Plus to cut the 3" Very Vanilla circle for the center.  This tool allows me to cut the exact size circle and layers I need in tiny increments from 1" up to 6".
  • A sponge dabbed in Close to Cocoa Classic Ink gives a rich finish to the edges.
  • Stampin' Up! Craft Ink has an amazing attribute . . . it's sticky
enough to be heat embossed.  I stamped Dasher in Close to Cocoa Craft
Ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  This adds shine,
    dimension and polish.
  • A Stamp-a-ma-jig assisted me in precisely placing the stamp on the 3" circle.
  • Give your holiday cards a fresh and modern appeal.  Cameo Coral adds a whopping dose of splash to Mellow Moss and Close to Cocoa.

  3. Hi Sandy:  I embossed Dasher using Close to Cocoa Craft Ink and Clear Embossing Powder . . . it adds texture and looks a bit like fur 🙂  I used Close to Cocoa with the Petals-A-Plenty Impressions Folder for the background pieces.  Hope this answers your question.

    Hugs,

Hmmm, love the plum banner. That dasher is dashing with his embossed coat of fur. Love it. Did you use a few pieces of Close to Cocoa to get that front? Great color combo.

Dasher is so elegant, what you did with the background just enhances the focal point. Love your colors.
I received my circle cutter late because I procrasted about getting it. Hope I can learn how to use it now.

  8. Dashing! Great color combo.

    Hi Colleen:

I saw a similar color combo at a paint store . . . that’s where I got the idea for the splash of Cameo Coral. Glad you liked it.
