Jewelry Jazz

Stampin up holiday mini catalog top note die

My 15 year old daughter, Caroline, has fallen head over heels for jewelry making.  My sister "commissioned" her to create a necklace with turquoise and brown.  My role was to jazz up the presentation with a few papercrafts–easy to do with these two Stampin' Up! Exclusive Bigz Dies (Scallop Envelope and Top Note).

STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:
  • Stampin' Up!'s Autumn Meadows Designer Series Paper (Holiday Mini Catalog) offers a stunning combination of fall colors: Chocolate Chip, Really Rust, More Mustard, Taken with Teal, Very Vanilla.

  • Simple layering of Boho Flower Blossoms and the Scallop Square (set on an angle) punch up the Scallop Envelope.
  • The Top Note Die folded the long way is the perfect topper for Stampin' Up!'s Medium Cello Bags.  Excellent bang for the buck . . . 50 (4" x 6") bags for $4.50.
  • A single flower from the Trio Flower Punch adds pizzazz to the tag.  The Trio Flower Punch is on sale NOW as part of the Stampin' Up! Deal of the Week.  Don't miss out!

  1. Beautiful set and I agree your daughter is extremely talented as well! I agree with Kris too that those colors totally say Arizona. Glad you joined us here in this beautiful state. 🙂

  2. I can tell you have moved. The jewelry, and card have distinctly Southwestern looks and colors to them. Very nice.

  4. Well the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree! As that saying goes. Great combination & colors of the card & Caroline’s wood/turquoise necklace. I made a wood bead bracelet, but using 1 round turquoise bead on stretch cord. Very cute!

  6. Wonderful! So glad to hear Caroline has found her creative outlet, too!

    Hi Colleen:

I haven’t convinced Caroline to be a papercrafting maniac (like her mum). However, I’m excited to see her so entrenched in jewelry and the art and therapy of crafts.
