Sneak Peek Night and Day DP

Stampin up trendy trees night and day specialty paper

Stampin up trendy trees night and day specialty paper close up The Night and Day Specialty Paper in the Stamipin' Up! Holiday Mini Catalog is irresistible.  Black and white patterns coordinate with themes from Halloween to weddings.  There are even two 12 x 12 black polka dot window sheets.  I chose two elegant Night and Day samples for today's card.

The customer sales period for the Mini begins September 1.  However, I'm here to give you plenty of sneak peeks in the meantime to help you prepare your wish list in advance.

  • Using Trendy Trees stamp set and a Stamp-a-ma-jig, I created my black and red tree (I'm not one to conform to "green-only" leaves).
  • The image is layered on Basic Black and Real Red card stock.
  • A snippet of Red Gingham Ribbon is a splendid accent.
  • SC241 NC I stamped the "sorry" sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes (Jet Black Stazon ink on Real Red card stock).
  • The Modern Label Punch gives the sentiment a delightful new shape and two Pretties Halfback Pearls garnish the sides.  TIP:  Stampin' Up! Mini Glue Dots (103683) hold the pearls firmly in place.
  • Two patterns from Night and Day Specialty Paper layer over Real Red, in accordance with this week's Splitcoast Sketch Challenge SC241.
  • The Whisper White card base is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and scored on the side.
