Designer Envelope Flaps

At
the request of my Stampin’ Pretty readers, I shot instructional photos
for adding designer paper to the outside of envelope flaps.  It’s a
beautiful touch and quicker (at least for me) than lining the interior.

I prefer Stampin’ Up!’s Craft and Paper Scissors (108360) for trimming Designer Series Paper.  They cut like “buttah.”

Apply
a strong adhesive to the exterior envelope flap on all sides.  Line up
designer paper to cover the flap and adhere.  The designer paper should
go snug against the envelope crease.

Flip the envelope over and carefully cut away the excess designer paper.

Now you have a pretty, coordinated envelope for your card!

  1. I saw where you lined the inside of a flap too, can you show how you did that?

Hi Carol: Thanks for your comment. I have shown tips on this in the past. However, others have asked for an envelope liner tutorial so I’ll keep it in mind for a future date. Hugs, M
