Bashful Inspirations

Stampin up branch out mojo monday

Welcome to another fabulous Mojo Monday sketch (MOJOJANETTE) designed by Mojo Maker Janette Olen.  Tomorrow (8/23 at 7 a.m. CST) I'll have the final sketch of Julee Tilman's 100th sketch celebration . . . AND it's my turn to do a Mojo Sketch.  Woo hoo! Stay tuned for MOJOMARY and be ready to play along.

Stampin up branch out inspiration My inspiration for today's card came from this little notebook I picked up at the office supply store while shopping for my daughter's school supplies.  I love the subtle contrast of blue and white, especially the heat embossed silhouette of the white tree.

DON'T FORGET!  Branch Out (a top seller) is not in the catalog but IS available.  Click here for the complete Stampin' Up! Dormant Stamp List.

TIP #1:  The Elegant Bouquet Textured Impressions Embossing Folder partnered with my Big Shot to produce the pretty textured background.  Such a "wow" factor.

TIP #2:  The simple addition of Bashful Blue Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap adds a delicious, coordinated polish.

Please leave me a comment at the end of this post if you have any
questions on the details of this card.  I'll update your comment with
the answer!

  1. Very nice Mary – and just my style – elegant and simple. I have been a fan of DSP paper in the envelope flap for a few months now but the outside is just as nice.

  10. I, too, would be very interested in a tutorial on how you do the envelope flaps. I mean, I can trace and cut, but they never look as crisp and neat as yours do — so I would definitely welcome any pointers!

I love the card! I’d have to say Branch Out is one of my favorite sets of all time, and you’ve done it proud here.

  12. Lovely card Mary. I wish you would do a video on how you do your envelopes…..pat

    Hi Pat:

How about a photo tutorial on adding DP to the flap? It’s quite easy and the step by step photos would be quicker to produce. I might get nervous with the scissors trying to cut and video at the same time. I appreciate your feedback.

    Hugs, M
