Inspiration can be in your backyard, literally! This orange tree from my new Tucson home may not be bearing oranges right now. However, the shape and idea were a natural calling card for me to use the new Stampin' Up! Pendant Park stamp set.
- The Pendant Park tree was stamped on Very Vanilla card stock with Old Olive ink. It's cut square at 3 1/2".
- Using a 1/4" hole punch (SU's is retired, but any 1/4" hole punch will work), I popped out oranges from Pumpkin Pie Textured card stock.
- After adhering the oranges, I used a Paper Piercer and Template to jazz up the corners. TIP: Stampin' Up! now sells the Paper Piercer as an individual item for $3.50. A budget-friendly price for this little power horse. A Mat Pack with the Template I used, Paper Piercing pad and Setting Mat is sold separately for $9.95.
- The orange tree was adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals to a 3 3/4" square of Old Olive Textured card stock and followed by a 4 x 5 1/4" piece of Textured Pumpkin Pie.
- Old Olive 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon creates a very simple accent.
- I stamped "hello" in Old Olive on Old Olive card stock. It's cropped to a perfect size for the Styled Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware Label Holder using a Small Oval Punch. TIP: I use a Stampin' Dimensional to hold the oval sentiment in place while adding the hardware. It also adds a little bulk for a snug fit in the label holder.
