  2. Mary, thank you for presenting the new in colors. They are beautiful. I’m excited and can’t wait to get my hands on those. And that ribbon…I think I’m drooling. Thanks again for all you do to keep us inspired and excited about stamping.

  4. This is the first year that I love all six colors right off the bat. I’ve learned to love the 18 previous In Colors with time and use, but those I already love even though my box isn’t even here yet.

I shrieked a little bit when I saw that we had markers, and I shrieked some more when I saw that we had some 8?x11 textured cardstock as well! I am so excited for the new catalogue.

Now, the UPS Website says that my shipment is due on Friday. I sure hope it turns out to be or else the weekend will be a very long and lonely one…

  8. Someone above asked how we would make Christmas cards with these colors. I know you will be able to do that, however, if anyone can. No green this year, but I still love Wild Wasabi. So much for hoarding paper, ink pads, and ink refills.

  14. Thanks for the comparisons, Mary, and the sneak peek of the stamp too!!! Seeing the colors against those we know really helps me see how I might use them. I am soooo pumped that they are finally coming out with markers too. Although I am going to miss Baja Breeze and Kiwi Kiss, I know I will grow to love these new colors too – happens every year!

    Thanks.

  25. I think I am going to really like the razzleberry and the suede colors. Being on the Stampin Up survey panel this year, I said several times that we needed the markers to go with the in colors…glad they listened! I am looking foward to your sneak peeks and esp. seeing how you combine these colors together. I also love the polka dot ribbon. How fun! Have a great weekend and fun playin!

  27. Mary, thank you for posting these so promptly, and I love the way you displayed them. I was surprised that the Melon is a pink shade. I was thinking of either a honeydew or a cantaloupe color, but this is fine too. I congratulate you for always being on top of things. For those of us waiting with bated breath, you are our “go-to girl.”

  28. Wow…I’m not usually interested in the “In Colors” but this time I don’t think I’ll be able to do without! Thank you for taking the time to show the contrast between the other colors. Funny enough, I’ve wished for a more “in between” shade for every single one of these colors.

Does SU carry a refill ink for these colors?

Hi Nikki: Refills for the new In Colors will be available when the new catalog comes out July 1. Hugs, M

  31. The colors are slowly growing on me and I think by the time I see the catalogue I’ll be a real fan (the melon, suede and blue are my favs)!

I have one question though Mary – how will we make Christmas cards out of these colors???!!! 😉 That’s what I’ll be wanting to see!

I hope I’ll be able to smuggle some of this stuff back to Oz with me – hehehe

    Hi Alana:

I think we may have to think a bit out of the box for the holidays this year . . . If course we can always mix the SU color families, too . . . Soft Suede has a hint of green and would be beautiful with any red, Bravo Burgundy or even Bermuda Blue for the holidays . . . imagine white snowflakes embossed on the blue. What about luxurious Rich Razzleberry card with Old Olive? I tend to stray from conventional so I’m open to experimenting.

This is just a sampling . . . I’m still getting acquainted with these new colors, too! Hugs, M
