  1. Love how you paired the new in colors with the other standard colors – gives me a such a great idea of how they play with the others.

  2. Mary, thank you for presenting the new in colors. They are beautiful. I’m excited and can’t wait to get my hands on those. And that ribbon…I think I’m drooling. Thanks again for all you do to keep us inspired and excited about stamping.

  3. Great colors; I can’t wait to play. I’m SO glad Stampin’ Up came up with markers for the new colors this time. Can’t wait to see more.

  4. This is the first year that I love all six colors right off the bat. I’ve learned to love the 18 previous In Colors with time and use, but those I already love even though my box isn’t even here yet.

I shrieked a little bit when I saw that we had markers, and I shrieked some more when I saw that we had some 8?x11 textured cardstock as well! I am so excited for the new catalogue.

Now, the UPS Website says that my shipment is due on Friday. I sure hope it turns out to be or else the weekend will be a very long and lonely one…

    Cindy 🙂

  5. I haven’t been this excited about the In Colors since their debut! And we finally get matching markers?? SWEET!!!! About darn time, eh? I can’t wait to place an order from the new catty — the In Color inks and markers will definitely be the first items to be ordered!

  6. You, Miss Mary, are AMAZING! What a beautiful and helpful presentation. I love it! Kudos!

  7. I love the new colors! I am happy there will be markers also!! Thanks for the sneak peak!

  8. I love the new In-Colors!! They are supper yummy.
I love the comparison chart, great idea!!!

    God bless
    Giovana

  9. WOW! The colors are fantastic; and I love the fact they have in color markers!! Think the polka dot ribbon is going to be fun. Thanks for Sharing! Mary Jo

  10. Beautiful! Thank you for showing the comparisons with the other colours. Can’t wait to see the new catalogue!

  11. Someone above asked how we would make Christmas cards with these colors. I know you will be able to do that, however, if anyone can. No green this year, but I still love Wild Wasabi. So much for hoarding paper, ink pads, and ink refills.

  12. Lovely! How nice to have markers to match!
Love the polka dotted ribbon as well.

  15. How exciting to have the In-Colour markers! I am always amazed at how the new colours look so fresh and enticing each year. Love the look of that new stamp and the ribbons….. I’m excited about our new catty which is more than a year away in NZ!! LOL

  16. Thanks for the sneek peeks! Those colors are great! Thanks for the color comparisons!!

  17. Love the comparisons!! That is so helpful! I’m not usually an orange kind of girl but that dusty durango is really appealing to me..along with all the others of course. Love the markers too!

  18. Thanks for the comparisons, Mary, and the sneak peek of the stamp too!!! Seeing the colors against those we know really helps me see how I might use them. I am soooo pumped that they are finally coming out with markers too. Although I am going to miss Baja Breeze and Kiwi Kiss, I know I will grow to love these new colors too – happens every year!

  19. Hi Mary

I check your website everyday – excited to see what you have for the day. I love your presentation of the new colours – just wonderful. Can’t wait for July 1st.

  20. Mary,
Great way to display the new colors…you have such talent!!!

I especially love the soft suede and crushed curry colors–but also love the new ribbon!

  21. Mary I love what you have done to display the new colors. I too would love to direct others to your site – is that possible?
Thanks for all the beautiful work you share with us!

    Hi Vicki:

Thanks. You are welcome to add a link to my In Colors post from your site. I would appreciate a credit (my name and/or Stampin’ Pretty). The only thing that is not acceptable is a cut and paste of my text and/or use of my photos on your post.

    Thanks. Mary

  22. You are such a card making Goddess!!!! Thanks for sharing the color combos! WOW!!!

    Jeanette

  23. I really like the new colors especially the Bermuda Bay. So pretty. Thanks for sharing the excitement with us!

  24. Thanks Mary for posting the comparison between the SU colors. If you don’t mind, can I redirect my viewers to view your site? I would love for them to see this. The colors don’t know justice until you really get to see the comparison. I’ll wait until I hear back from you to post.

    Thanks.

    Hi Joseline:

I would be happy to have you add a link to my page on your blog. The only “no no” is a cut and paste of any text or use of the photos. Thanks. Mary

  25. Those are very pretty new colors! Thank you for showing them that way, it really gives you a better idea of where they fit in. Gorgeous! 🙂

  26. I really like what you have done with the colors to help me see the difference. Thank you! I am in love with the ribbon to match and the blue and pink!

  27. Mary,
Love the new colors and can’t wait until July 1st to get my hands on them. Keep the sneak peeks coming. I love the new ribbon!

  28. I just love everything and I want it all……….now…..lol……can’t wait.
Love the ribbons and all the new colors are great……Patm

  29. Thank you so much for the sneak peak at the new colors which I am really excited to work with and see in person. I am really thrilled that they have introduced markers in the In Colors too!

  30. It’s wonderful of you to show how the colors compare to close colors of the color families. Thank you!

  31. I think I am going to really like the razzleberry and the suede colors. Being on the Stampin Up survey panel this year, I said several times that we needed the markers to go with the in colors…glad they listened! I am looking foward to your sneak peeks and esp. seeing how you combine these colors together. I also love the polka dot ribbon. How fun! Have a great weekend and fun playin!

  32. I’m loving the ribbon and the fact that there are markers! The colors are great too!

  33. Thank you for sharing these samples!! As an SU demo who is just dying to get her preorder, this is GREAT!! Thanks again!

  34. Mary, thank you for posting these so promptly, and I love the way you displayed them. I was surprised that the Melon is a pink shade. I was thinking of either a honeydew or a cantaloupe color, but this is fine too. I congratulate you for always being on top of things. For those of us waiting with bated breath, you are our “go-to girl.”

  35. Wow…I’m not usually interested in the “In Colors” but this time I don’t think I’ll be able to do without! Thank you for taking the time to show the contrast between the other colors. Funny enough, I’ve wished for a more “in between” shade for every single one of these colors.

Does SU carry a refill ink for these colors?

Hi Nikki: Refills for the new In Colors will be available when the new catalog comes out July 1. Hugs, M

  36. They really made up for the last ones! I wish they were coming out tomorrow! I cannot wait! And markers, FINALLY! I’m SO excited! THanks so much for sharing!

  37. Mary…Thank you so much for your wonderfully informative post! I know I can always come to your site for the most up-to-date info and best examples! Thanks!!

  38. All I can say is WOW!!! Those colors look good enough to eat! Can’t wait to get the new catalog!

  39. The colors are slowly growing on me and I think by the time I see the catalogue I’ll be a real fan (the melon, suede and blue are my favs)!

I have one question though Mary – how will we make Christmas cards out of these colors???!!! 😉 That’s what I’ll be wanting to see!

I hope I’ll be able to smuggle some of this stuff back to Oz with me – hehehe

    Hi Alana:

I think we may have to think a bit out of the box for the holidays this year . . . If course we can always mix the SU color families, too . . . Soft Suede has a hint of green and would be beautiful with any red, Bravo Burgundy or even Bermuda Blue for the holidays . . . imagine white snowflakes embossed on the blue. What about luxurious Rich Razzleberry card with Old Olive? I tend to stray from conventional so I’m open to experimenting.

This is just a sampling . . . I’m still getting acquainted with these new colors, too! Hugs, M

  40. Thank you for your sneak peaks! I love the new colors. I think Melon Mambo will be my new favorite! Can’t wait to see it all in person. 🙂

  41. I love that you posted the comparisons to give us an idea what they will look like. Can’t wait to get my hands on that soft suede!!!!

  42. I love the way you compared them to the current colors. This way we are able to see the difference. Thanks!

  43. I’m really excited about the new colors, and markers! Love the comparisons you made with them, it’s nice to see how they fit in with current colors!

  44. Love the Melon Mambo and Bermuda Bay. Seem to be searching for these colours a lot lately.

  45. what is that stamp you used…I love it! thank you

Hi Diana: It’s a new one . . . Razzleberry Dazzle. Looks amazing with different areas colored with different markers. So pretty. Hugs, Mary

  46. OK, OK. They are growing on me. I haven’t seen them in person yet, a must for truly appreciating the depth of color in SU cardstock, but I’m starting to have feelings for them. Your photos give great color comparisons! Thanks for the peek!

  47. I think they are great. I really like Razzelberry and the melon one. I’m anxious about soft suede. Hurry up July 1.

  48. I am so excited about the Markers! The colors are awesome. Now I am just waiting for mine to arrive!
    Hugs,
    Elizabeth

  49. Finally, Stampin Up is giving us the option of buying markers to match the paper with the “In Colors”. Wahoo!!! Those papers are gorgeous. I can’t wait to see what else is in that cattie. I love the Stamp Set used and the ribbon is so lovely as well. I can’t hold in my excitement.LOL Thanks for the preview, by the time the catalog gets here, I’ll have a list a mile long of wanted items.

Hi Sandy: I’m afraid my list is growing . . . I am pouring over the new catalog . . . one of the benefits of being a demo (advance catalog). Hugs, Mary

  50. Oh my goodness – YUM!!! Beautifully photographed, Mary, and the comparisons are great. Boo hoo that we in Australia have to WAIT for these!!

  51. Thank you for posting the color comparisons. The lighting is perfect and the color choices were just want I wanted. Thanks!!

  52. Wow Mary..I want it all! I actually love all the new colors being released..I usually only like two or three..but these are all beautiful. and that stamp is going to be a must have..guess I better start stashin away some dough for the big day! I am looking forward to all your sneaks.
