Hand Drawn Birthday

Stampin up party hearty hand drawn

Stay Tuned!  There's so much happening in the next 24 hours with Stampin' Up! products and promotions.

  • May 31 marks the last day of the May Promotions and the special $75 Demonstrator Start-Up Kit.
  • On June 1, I'll be ready to post (as soon as they are released) the Stampin' Up! Last Chance Stamp and Accessories Lists (formerly called the "retired" lists).  The Summer Fun Hostess Bonus Promotion kicks off, too.
  • To top it all off, tomorrow morning (June 1) at 7:00 a.m., the latest Mojo Monday design will be strutting it's stuff on my Stampin' Pretty blog.

REMEMBER:  All these Stampin' Up! promotions (including hostess promotions) are available with a qualifying on-line order.  Supplies will be limited and sell out quickly on the Last Chance Lists.

Today's card relies on the Party Hearty stamp set and the fun and colorful designs from the Hand Drawn Designer Series Paper (Hostess Level 3).  Loving all the goodies in the Hand Drawn Bundle (see below for all that's included)?  Team up with a friend, place your order on-line and earn this bundle of designer paper, rub-ons and coordinating stamps free.  Plus, take advantage of the additional hostess free merchandise for qualifying orders (workshops or on-line) placed in June.
  • This card starts with the "b" stamp from Party Hearty inked in Baja Breeze and stamped on Whisper White card stock.
  • The "b" was stamped again in Riding Hood Red and the center clipped with a 3/4" Circle Punch.
  • I added a Circle Rhinestone Brad (Ice) to the center and adhered the circle to the center of the "b" with a Stampin' Dimensional.
  • TIP:  Suffering from a "brad leg hangover?" Stampin' Up! Craft & Rubber Scissors (103179) easily snip off brad "legs" so they don't stick out on smaller elements.
  • The image was matted on Riding Hood Red and Certainly Celery card stock.
  • The sentiment was stamped in Riding Hood Red on Whisper White card stock.
  • I adhered the sentiment with Stampin' Dimensionals to layered rectangles of Riding Hood Red and Certainly Celery.
  • Two amusing patterns from Hand Drawn Designer Series were adhered to a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" Whisper White card base (scored on the top).
  • The final touches were three Circle Rhinestone Brads (Fire) and a gorgeous strip of Ribbon Originals Riding Hood Red Dress Up Ribbon.
Stampin up party hearty 2 Bye Bye Baja Breeze . . . if you love Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, Pacific Point, Pink Pirouette and Tangerine Tango, keep in mind that all designer paper, card stock, ink and accessories with these colors will be retired when the new catalog is released on July 1.  Be sure to stock up on your favorites before it's too late!

  6. Hi, I noticed that you said above that the new catalog will be released July 31. I thought it was June 30, with orders to begin on July 1. Which is correct? Thanks, Nancy

    Hi Nancy:

Thanks for staying on top of that for me. On July 1, the new Stampin’ Up! catalog will be available on-line for download and the customer sales period begins.

    I have updated the post!

    Hugs, Mary

  7. Looking at your beautiful cards reminds me that I should probably have gotten that bundle during the pre-order period…
    It looks oh so cute!

  8. The boxes on the cake stand above are so much fun to make and give. They are perfect for small gifts. And SU!’s designer series papers are wonderful to make the boxes from. Sometimes I just get in a mood to make some boxes, even if I don’t have a reason in mind. I even keep some on display in my home.

  9. Fun, fun, fun!
