- Stampin' Up! On Board So Tweet was my resource for this sweet chip board guy. There are 80 images in the set. I adhered the flower pattern from Pink Flamingo Designer Series Paper to the owl, trimmed the excess and sanded for a polished fit.
- TIP: The circle disks (included in So Tweet) for the eyes are exactly the same size as my 3/4" Circle Punch. Using the punch, I popped out the "whites of his eyes" in Whisper White Textured card stock.
- TIP: Even more amazing is that the smallest heart in Stampin' Up!'s Heart to Heart punch layered over the So Tweet mini hearts perfectly. I used the punch to create Only Orange Textured eyes.
- I snipped additional Only Orange Textured card stock to cover his triangular chip board nose.
- The card base is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 in Whisper White. A lovely stem pattern from Walk in the Park Designer Series (exclusively in the Occasions Mini Catalog) lands on top.
- Two strips of Only Orange Textured card stock make up the vertical and horizontal panels.
- TIP: Using a Paper Piercer and Template, I lined up the 5/16" Whisper White Jumbo Brads.
- Another bit of matching Pink Flamingo Designer Series Paper was cropped with a Photo Corners Punch and adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Whisper White Taffeta (a mainstay in my ribbon supplies) provides a lovely spot for my owl to rest his "bum."
- The "thank you" sentiment is from Bella Blossoms (not in the catalog but available). It was inked in Kiwi Kiss and stamped on Whisper White. Click to Download the Stampin' Up! Dormant But Available Stamp List.
- The sentiment was shaped using a Large Oval Punch and attached to a Scallop Oval in the matching Pink Flamingo paper.

I can’t wait to see the gallery for this color combo, but she still hasn’t posted it. (CC218) Is there anywhere else to look? When do you think she will post it? Thanks.

Those colors make me smile!!! Thanks for sharing your wonderful artwork with us.

I love these bright colors! The owl is my favorite from So Tweet 🙂
I love this card (amazing since I am not fond at all of the owls!) — great color combo and I may have to case since I have oodles of these owls from the On Board kit you mentioned!! TFS! Jeanne
I love what you have done with this color combo. He’s precious1
Love these colors, I seem to be stuck in a baja breeze combo! Currently trying to work through an entire pack of tangerine tango paper, do you have any ideas?
Hi Emily:
For a fun look, mix Baja and Tangerine together . . . to soften it, use a lot of white (perhaps make the card base Tangerine and layer Whisper White card stock on top before you add elements and images). Or heat emboss on the Tangerine in White — very snazzy 🙂
Hugs, Mary
What a hoot 🙂 Love the bright cheery colors!
Very very Cute. The color of the owl stands out very good against the Only Orange and Kiwi Kiss.
I love this happy card. Especially love how you chose a patterned paper for the owl.
Super cute card – Mary!!! Love the owl!!! Nice take on the CC and of course the OCCC 🙂 Thanks for playing along!!!
Have a wonderful weekend!!! Hugs ~S~
Scooby Doo! I LOVED that cartoon series as a kid. When I saw the picture and read your first word—I was right there, camped in front of the TV. I so thought Velma was super cool! This is so fun! This color challenge made me think flowers, but your take is incredibly more original. Love it!
I have been tempted for soooo long to buy this set just for the sentiments. I have enough big flowers but the words are perfect and I like the font. Fun card!
I love it! So very cute!
Super cute card Mary!!
Have a great day.
