Stamp By Your Man

Mike Funke is my Guest Stamper today.  I have noticed more and more men indulging in the art of stamping for the same reasons many women do–both relaxation and the pure enjoyment of spending time making something artistic and special.  Let's give it up for Mike (a brave soul) by leaving your comments at the end of this post.

Mike has a clean style and an eye for color. Can this guy tie ribbon with perfection or what?  The card interior (below) is delightful, too.

Card Stock:  Whisper White, Regal Rose

Excellent work Mike! I love the fact that this card does some serious mileage for so many different recipients. It’s perfect for mailing, too, without dropping more $ and a special trip to the Post Office. Kudos for the inside as well. I have been trying to finish the inside sentiment panel of my cards, but had not thought to do the flip side of the front. I leave here with great inspiration! Thanks again and best wishes to you!

Mike, I love your card. You are not alone. My husband also loves to make cards and scrapbook. He is a former teacher (now principal). This is now his version of a classroom bulletin board. My favorite is “borrowing” all of his great paper and embelishments. You have a real gift. Enjoy it with pride.
