Butterflies in the Park

Stampin up bigz beautiful butterflies

Take a "Walk in the Park" with Stampin' Up!'s Beautiful Butterflies die cuts. The pretty patterns  and colors (Cameo Coral, Kiwi Kiss, Basic Gray) from Stampin' Up!'s new Walk in the Park Designer Series Paper (Occasions Mini) really define this card.  Click here for more of my Occasions Mini samples.

My three floating "beauties" emerged using a Big Shot Die-Cut machine and Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die.  TIP:  Each one is attached with a Mini Glue Dot in the center, still "hovering" over Whisper White Paper.  A Circle Rhinestone Brad on each provides a lively accent.

The butterfly panel is layered over Cameo Coral and Kiwi Kiss.  I tucked in Basic Gray Taffeta Ribbon for a little polish (and you know how much I love Stampin' Up!'s Taffeta Ribbon).  TIP:  For an elegant touch, Whisper White card stock was given a gorgeous treatment from an Eyelet Border Punch and attached to the side (a good counterbalance to the ribbon tie).

The charming floral designer paper is layered over a 4.25 x 5.5 card base of Whisper White card stock, scored at the top.   TIP:  For a more interesting look, I reshaped the bottom corners with a Corner Rounder Punch.

The sentiment is from Pocket Silhouettes.  It's stamped in Basic Gray (on Kiwi Kiss) and cropped with a Large Oval Punch.   TIP:  Keep in mind that exposing just parts of a punch (like this Large Oval) can be very unique and expands the versatility of your punches.
