I’m Feeling Punk

Sick_in_bed
Hi Stampers:  I haven't fallen off the planet.  My two day "disappearance" is due to a nasty little cold and fever that has consumed my stamping mojo.  I'm feeling a bit better tonight (thank goodness for hot tea) but  won't be able to create and post until tomorrow.

  1. Hope you’re feeling like yourself again! Saw my MIL posted about her yummy homemade pecan tarts, yes, you need some! 😉 Can’t wait to see what your mojo creates when you’re better! Hugs, Monica

  2. So sorry to hear you’re under the weather! I think those nasty bugs are trying to get in one last hurrah before Spring comes…a rotten flu bug bit me and I’ve been home the past couple days. Let’s hope for a speedy recovery!

  3. I can well believe you wouldn’t feel much like stamping and posting, mojo or not! It is really there somewhere, biding it’s time. Hoping you’ll soon be back to feeling great; this is a good time to give yourself some special treatment! Wish I could email you some of my good homemade pecan tarts or biscotti to have with your tea.

  4. I love Traditional Medicinal teas. You buy the one that fits your symptoms and over the course of the day you brew it up, tent for 10 minutes and then drink it. Started doing this back in Wisconsin and found the teas at our local health food store. Hope you recover very soon. I miss you! 🙂

  6. Oh, Mary, I’m so sorry your sick. Please take care and rest, rest, rest. As a little girl, my Great-Grandmother would tell me “Let’s starve that ol’ cold but need to feed the fever but this one needs to starve the fever and feed the cold.” Either way she made me laugh and eat!
Have a sweet and blessed speedy recover.

  8. Ok, good. I was getting worried! Not good that you’re sick, just that you haven’t disappeared.

I stop by your blog daily and I’m always amazed by your cards/projects. (I know, I should comment more).

  9. Feel better soon!! My whole family and most of my coworkers have all shared the most horrible cold this year, so I have a lot of sympathy for you. Take your time to really recover, because if it’s like the one we had, it took 2-3 weeks to fully rid oneself of all remnants of the illness. Obviously, we your readers miss you but it’s most important to take care of yourself first!!

  11. HOT Chicken broth. I think the salt and heat has magical powers. Lots of lemon in your tea with the honey. Fresh ginger is good too. Relax and read. Sometimes your body has to tell you when it’s time for a break. Feel better soon. We will all have to await your next amazing creation.

  18. Get well soon Mary. Get a good quality honey and take some in your tea…it’s great to make you feel better. (Organic unpasturizes is best – the creamy coloured type)
