Cupcake Challenge Anniversary

Stampin up its a loop thing cupcake challenge

Prizes!  Prizes!  Taylor Van Bruggen is celebrating the one year anniversary of the Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge.  Each of the Weekly Cupcake Crew has designed their own sketch to celebrate.  As a past featured cupcake stamper, I get the privilege of participating in the fun and sharing my design using Taylor's sketch challenge.  You can check out the sketch on her blog and find out about the prize you can win by participating!

You also don't want to miss out on the awesome grand prize for one person who participates in ALL of the 9 sketch challenges.  We hope you'll help us celebrate this yummy occasion!

Please check out the rest of Taylor's cupcake sketch samples by these talented stampers.

I used Stampin' Up's Classy Brass Template Dots to dry emboss the large dots on Baja Breeze and Classy Brass Template Floral Frenzy to emboss the tiny flowers on the Tangerine Tango Scallop Edge Border.  Pretty cool.  The Baja Breeze cupcake stamp on the oval (and envelope) and "hey, cupcake" rub-on are both included in the Hand Drawn Bundle (Hostess Level 3).

FREE CATALOG!  Prefer a "real" catalog you can curl up with in a comfy chair?  Stampin' Up! announced that beginning Feb.1, the Stampin' Up! 2009 Spring/Summer Idea Book and Catalog will be included with every on-line order.  Offer ends April 30 or the first 22,000 orders, whichever comes first.

  1. After seeing this card and that darling envelope, I feel as though I must have that set… I wish there were another way to get it… As always, beautiful card, Mary!

    Hi Sherrie:

I agree, this stamp set, rub-ons and DP is to die for.

It may seem impossible to reach a hostess 3. However, if you team up with a few friends, you can consolidate an order (even on-line–full benefits are available–much like a hosting a workshop) and earn all the hostess benefits, plus (starting Feb. 1) all the Sale-A-Bration freebies for being both a customer and bonus as a hostess. Free catalog when you order on-line starting Feb. 1, too.

With the release of the new catalog and SAB, it doesn’t take much to get to hostess 3. Good timing.

    No pressure . . . just fyi 🙂

    Hugs,

    M

  3. How cool is your card? I love the large ‘hey cupcake’ sentiment; it makes the focal! As usual, thanks for the inspiration, Mary.

  5. great sketch.
Great card! and i love those colors together. That is a good idea about stamping your stamp on white CS and then cutting it like regular printed CS. Thanks Mary. You are so cleaver.
