Today's guest stamper (my darling niece, Kris) is the master of splashy combinations. This mix of gift ideas and design is a monster dose of papercrafting WOW! The Top Note (Top Note Bigz Die) candy wraps are pure genius. Check out all Kris's talent on her blog at Kween Bee Kreations.
TIP: The candies are Bogdon's dark chocolate covered peppermint sticks. You can find them HERE. The box (Beate's Box Tutorial Here) is perfect for A2 (4.25 x 5.5) cards. So cool how Kris layered the gift tags and wrapped things up with the chocolate felt ribbon.
I love Stampin' Up!'s Frosty Day Designer Series paper. TIP: It's especially useful because it has longevity beyond the holidays for those of us in cold climates. It's perfect for today where the temperatures in Madison, WI, have dipped to a 1 degree wind chill. My husband and I have promised ourselves a warmer climate when my daughter, Caroline, graduates in 2012. I used to chuckle at the phrase "snow birds" (Midwest seniors who "wintered" in Arizona). Hah! I'm there.

Thank you, Kris, for being my Guest Stamper (special niece and friend) and creating such a fresh and pretty project to share. I'm so proud.
This is so cute! Love the Bigz candy wrappers! And the felt ribbon on the box adds the perfect touch, I personally LOVE that ribbon! The cards to go with it are darling also! What a great project! You can winter over in FL, the sunshine state! 😉 Hugs, Monica
SWEEEET! {giggle} & Brilliant candy stick wrap. Love that felt ribbon, too! Nice work Kris!
Around here the “snow birds” spend their winter in Florida. East coast is about 30 degrees w/o the wind chill factor. But I love it! Will still be here when my dd graduates in 2012. Your neice is so talented. Must be she gets it from you!

Well, the gift of creativity obviously runs in the family! Such beautifully crafted things!
Shut UP! How old is that girl? You better sign her up – she’s got your eye!!
I highly recommend Austin in 2012! 🙂

Hi Lydia:
I’m still chuckling over your comment about my niece. She’s thirty something and IS part of my Stampin’ Up! downline. I feel very lucky.
Also, Austin is in the running for 2012. I understand it’s much like Madison, WI, without all the cold weather. Is that true?
Hugs,
Mary
Fabulous Set!!! Love the candy wrapper and the Note ideas!!! Well done – Kris!!!
That’s such a great idea. Why can’t I be home now while the creative juices are flowing?! =)
Fantastic job and great Guest Stamper!!
Hi Tanis:
Where are you that you can’t stamp? Maybe that could be my claim to fame . . . a mini stamper travel kit to help us survive when we can’t be near our paper and tools!
Hugs,
Mary
Beautiful project Kris!
Totally fabulous!!
What a great set, and the candy wrapper with the Top Note idea is fabulous!!! I’m off to see Kris’ blog 🙂

This is fabulous Mary…congrats to Kris.
I just love those peppermint sticks, they are so yummy!!!
She did such a fabulous job on this little box. Great color combo and I love the DSP.
Thanks for allowing me to be the guest stamper on your site today, Mary!!
Looking at that photo makes me wish I had one of those peppermint sticks right now. 🙂
I love these little treat “bags”. what a cleaver thing!
Beautiful project. And I’m so there with you on going somewhere warm. My husband has been trying to convince us to move south for years, and I’m finally on board. But the kids…what can you do. In a few years when our son graduates, I’m sure we’ll be out of here so fast you’ll see the cartoon dust clouds behind us! 🙂
Awesome gift set! I love that paper too. It was nice of you to help promote Kris! You are a great upline to have.
