Guest Stamper: Cindy’s Year In a Box

Cindy major

A Year In a Box.  You are in for such a treat. After admiring project after project on Cindy Major's Blog, I asked this Canadian Stampin' Up! Demonstrator to be a Guest Stamper on Stampin' Pretty.  She volunteered in a heartbeat.  Lucky me.  I never anticipated she would put together such an incredible contribution.  Click for complete product details and tips.

The Bigz Scallop Circle Die (113468) is the foundation of each card.  So easy with a Big Shot Die-Cut Machine (113439).  Here's my Scallop Note Card Tutorial.

Isn't this a neat idea?  The "egg" is highlighted to define Easter (Occasions Collection, Hostess Level 2, 111590).
5

All in the Family (109339) provides a charming Father's Day image (this is one of my favorites in the set).  I love the coloring, doodles and look what she did with the ties . . . looks like custom designer paper!
6

Very Spooky!  Check out the clever stitched web.
7

Translation:  Happy Mother's Day!  So pretty.
8

Happy New Year!
9

St. Patrick's Day!  Note how she split the Scallop Circle (113468) with the Top Note Bigz Die (113463).
10

Aren't these colors gorgeous for this little darling note using Stampin' Up!'s Fall Flair (Hostess Level 2, 111630)?

11

This sweet valentine was love at first sight.  I love the wee punch in every scallop.
12

The box?  It's simply an empty plastic binder clip container from Staples.  Thanks, Cindy, for recycling!

She has every detail perfected inside and out!

Thanks, Cindy, for a masterpiece. Check out her blog here.  Which one is your favorite (or favorites)?  Leave me a comment!

Here's a little background from Cindy:

I live in Quebec City, PQ, and I've been a demo for 3? years now. I signed up the very day SU! entered the Quebec market, planning to be my own very best customer. Things took off soon afterwards, though, and I am now at the head of a team of 26 demos called "Des dames en art."

SU! has been an amazing addition to my life. It has allowed me to meet people who share my passion, to finance my hobby, to develop my leadership skills and to travel! The trip to Convention last summer was an amazing experience and I'm sure the trip to Leadership next month will be as well.

  4. It’s already been said but AWESOME is the perfect description. Favorite??? You’ve got to be kidding!

LoL – Okay, if I have to choose it’s a tie between Thanksgiving and Valentines. Until I joined SU I never did Thanksgiving cards. Now they are an addiction.

NOW if only SU would let US demo’s buy French language stamps! I’d love to be thankful for that one next Thanksgiving wouldn’t you?!!

Thanks for sharing Cindy and Mary thanks for sharing Cindy’s work.

    Blessings all! – Jean

I am back blogging. I had a very busy month, I traveled 3 times in 4 weeks, I think I spent more time out than in my house. I hope I can have my stamping time soon.

    Love your blog Mary.
