Have you taken a peek at the Best Wishes & More stamp set (111602)? It's a versatile, year round set for the seasoned or "rookie" stamper. The wavy sentiments are luscious. I have the stamp images below for you to see the full set for yourself.
I needed a quick thank you and inked up the Best Wishes bird in Always Artichoke and stamped on Whisper White. The image was then cropped out, cut and embossed using Nestabilities Squares and a Big Shot Die-Cut Machine.
TIP: If you want to add brads or an accent on the image, consider stamping and cutting off center to accommodate the hardware "bling." I added three of Stampin' Up!'s Styled Silver Brads (Hodgepodge Hardware) to jazz up the corner. The image is layered on Chocolate Chip card stock and shaped with a Scalloped Square from Nestabilities.
I pulled out my Patterns Pack Designer Series Paper (Hostess Level 1) and plucked out two dishy Always Artichoke patterns. They are layered over Chocolate Chip and a snippet of Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon pulls everything together. The card base is Whisper White (4.25 x 5.5–no surprises here :).
The Chocolate Chip sentiment is from Beautiful Borders, stamped on Whisper White. It's popped out with a Small Oval Punch and fits neatly within the boundaries of the Styled Silver Label Holder. A 1 3/8" Circle of Always Artichoke patterned paper jumps in the game and ultimately lands on a Scalloped Circle in Chocolate Chip.

Adorable papers! Your added hardware really makes this card stand out. It’s beautiful!!
I love how you pulled together the different elements – circles, squares, patterns, scallops & hardware. It all looks perfectly suited together. Another thing to try when I’ve got some time to stamp. Thanks for the inspiration, Mary!
Love this card. Such pretty shades of green. Love the added hardware, so pretty! Great job.
Oh Mary! I have got to “borrow” this idea for the rest of my cards. This is so pretty. I love the little birdie. And the green is a great shade of green.
Your card is so pretty – Mary!!! I’ll get this Set when I go to the Orlando Regional – looking forward to it!!!
This is by far, one of my favorite sets from the new catalog–I use it a lot! Love the DP you’ve put it with…how come I want to hoard that stuff? Just like my HPH!!!
LeAnne
Dear LeAnne:
Thanks for your kind feedback. I’ll be showing more with the set. I really like working with it.
I have learned my lesson. Don’t hoard or you end up with supplies you don’t use. I now part with DP and hardware with ease. With the new catalog around the corner, I’m certain only to be stocking up on more goodies (already have new dp, hardware and stamps that was available to demos . . . woo hoo). Kid in a candy store in Madison, WI!!
Hugs, Mary
I really like the striking simplicity of this one! Very versatile and very pretty!
I have this set, in English (French traduction isn’t very beautiful), and I love it!!
Have a nice day, dear friend!
Absolutley stunning.
Very nice. That stamp set is very versatile. I need to put it on my wish list.
Love the color combo, I would have never thought of those two together. Good thing I have Mary to help me out with colors. Thanks for sharing.
This is so CUTE!! I love the colors!!
I love the hardware layered over the scallop circle!
This card looks great! Love that DSP you used and Choc and Always Artichoke looks so rich together – love it!
This is striking! I love the colors you used, I’m partial to anything GREEN!! Love how you layered the sentiment! Hugs, Monica
