Stampin’ Up! Spooky

Stampin up chills and thrills

Not a stamp or ink pad in sight!  Today's card relied exclusively on images from Stampin' Up!'s Chills and Thrills Rub-Ons, applied crisply and precisely in just seconds.  Stampin' Up! offers such a wonderful variety of quality rub-ons that add versatility to every stamper's tool kit.  Wouldn't it be fabulous if Stampin' Up! offered a 20% off promotion on all their rub-ons starting November 10 (hint, hint–mark your calendar)?

This rub-on spider has been the darling of the Halloween season.  He hopped onto the Pumpkin Pie card stock circle without a struggle.  Love this spider?  Check out the options for a larger version of him from Stampin' Up!'s D?cor Elements home d?cor line by clicking here.

All circles were cropped using Nestabilities Circle dies and a Big Shot Die Cutting Machine.  The spider circle was layered on Basic Black.  Peeking behind is a layer of Kiwi Kiss, textured using Cuttlebug's Tiny Mosaic Embossing Folder and matted on Basic Black.

The card base is 4.25 x 5.5, in Pumpkin Pie.  Layers of Ghostly Greetings Designer Series Paper and Basic Black land on top. TIP:  This fun layout is from Splitcoast Stampers Weekly Sketch Challenge, SC198.  All daily challenges are listed on my left side bar along with many other resources.

The horizontal panel grabs two more "spooktacular" rub-on from Chills and Thrills (the sentiment and web), applied to a wee polka dot pattern from Ghostly Greetings Designer Series Paper.  It's layered on a scalloped rectangle (Nestabilities Long Rectangles) of Basic Black and a snippet of Black Gingham Ribbon jazzes up the top edge.

THE PERFECT TOUCH:  Stampin' Up!'s perfectly coordinating buttons!  Old Olive Buttons from the Earth Elements Collection work fine and dandy with Kiwi Kiss.  TIP:  I used a skinny shred of Basic Black card stock to "thread" the button.  TIP:  Mini Glue Dots keep buttons in place with no mess!

TIP:  If you would like a printed copy of the updated D?cor Elements Brochure or any current Stampin' Up! catalogs, please click here (or download instantly by clicking the covers on my right side bar).

  1. You make such beautiful cards! I would have to say my favorite new products would be all the great die cuts for the big shot!
If I had to choose one, it would be the bag topper!
