Stampin’ Up! Birthday Sale

Stampin up crazy for cupcakes

Yes, it's me.  New photo and new blog makeover.  Still Stampin' Pretty.  Veronica of VK Design Co. gets credit for the charming, boutique style artwork and for having the patience to deal with all my "little tweaks."  Thinking about a blog or a redesign?  Veronica is extraordinary and reasonably priced.

D?cor Elements has released
Phase 2, which includes more beautiful vinyl wall coverings (and beyond–have you seen the Spooky Spider)? Discover new colors (Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, Certainly Celery, to name a few) and cool designs like Nursery Necessities and Park Avenue Ornaments (a couple standouts for me).

Today's card begins with the Crazy for Cupcakes stamp, inked in Jet Black Stazon and stamped on Stampin' Up!'s watercolor paper.  TIP:  SU's watercolor paper has an ivory tint to it so I recommend pairing it with Very Vanilla rather than Whisper White.

Ruby Red and Basic Black markers, combined with a Sparkle Gel Pen add some jazz to the delicious cupcakes.  My Big Shot Die Cutting Machine and Nestabilities Rectangles cut and embossed the sides of the image panel, Ruby Red (adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals) and Baja Breeze layers.

The background gets sumptuous texture using Cuttlebug's Divine Swirls embossing folder and my Big Shot.  It's layered on a 4.25 x 5.5 card base of Ruby Red (scored on the side).  The sentiment pops against a Ruby Red Designer Label Punch and Scallop Circle in Baja Breeze.  A Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware Label Holder and coordinating brads add the final dash.

Signature
(yep, the signature is new, too).

So what do you think of my new look?  Please leave me a comment at the end of this post.  I have made leaving a comment easier than ever 🙂
