One of my favorite things about stamping and blogging is making virtual friends like Monica. She sent me this adorable card which uses Stampin' Up!'s Eastern Blooms and Best Yet (Hostess Level 1) stamp sets. The flowery brown patterned paper is from Papertrey Ink and is a perfect match with the stamped flowers.

Isn’t it great to meet fellow stampers through the magic of the ‘puter? Laura is a blogging friend of mine and last week, we decided to challenge ourselves to do a card with the ugliest paper in our stash. I had such a blast turning my eye sore of a paper into something that wasn’t butt-ugly and had quite a laugh reading Laura’s blog entry afterwards.
