Cupcake Parade

Stampin up taylor cupcake challenge 1

I had to give the TECC40_(sketch)
Today’s cupcake arrives courtesy of Sock Monkey . . . it’s one of his accessories he felt fit to share.  I inked my petite cake in Versamark, stamped on Bashful Blue, So Saffron and Riding Hood Red card stock and heat embossed with Black Embossing Powder.  Each little guy was snipped out and glamorized with three micro brads in copper, gold and silver (www.justbrads.com). TIP:  I paper pierced the spots for the brads first.

The cupcakes were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals on a 1 1/4″ Square of Whisper White followed by a coordinating 1 3/8″ Square. All six found their final landing point on a larger piece of Pumpkin Pie card stock (4 1/4 x 2 7/8).

The horizontal and vertical panels are So Saffron and Bashful Blue Textured card stock.  The background is a lovely stripe from Stampin’ Up!’s Washington Apple Designer Series.  It’s layered on a 4.25 x 5.5 card base of Pumpkin Pie.

The sentiment is from Wow Flowers, inked in Riding Hood Red and stamped on Whisper White.  It’s popped out on a 1″ Circle Punch and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. A Red Circle Rhinestone Brad dots the center of the flower.  TIP:   A Pumpkin Pie Scallop Circle and a Bashful Blue 1 1/4″ Circle (both textured card stock) sneak behind the panel for a quick accent.

The final touch is a slip of Stampin’ Up!’s Blue Gingham ribbon wrapped around my cute cupcake pals.  Just the thing.
