It's the countdown to the end of Stampin' Up!'s Birthday Sale and Aqua Painter Promotion. I topped things off with an exclusive Stampin' Pretty offer–a free Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog ($9.95 Value and includes catalog delivery) with every product order of $99 or more. To take advantage of these three specials, place your on-line order here, no later than midnight (CST), October 31.
Stampin' Up!'s Crazy for Cupcakes is part of the Birthday Sale and gets a Parisian flair in pink and black. The Bella Toila stamp jazzes up the Pretty in Pink Background. Fiskars makes a Scallop Edge Punch (Threading Water) with a sweet little hole in every scallop. TIP: I lined the back of the open holes with a strip of Pretty in Pink for some ooh la la! A sparkle gel pen adds a delightful shimmer to the cupcakes and other details.
More cupcake ideas to come tomorrow. And stay tuned . . . I'm nearing the 200,000th visit to my blog and am ready to break out the blog candy to celebrate!
What a darling card. It reminds me of a little pastry shop in Paris.
Bonjour, Mary! 😉 Oh, wow, what a great idea to do a store front like that! Very clever!
I used a similar idea on a scrapbook page, but my “window” was used as a journaling block (http://cindymajor.typepad.com/encre_papier_ciseaux/2008/09/the-boardwalk.html).
Have a great weekend!
Cindy

Cute card! I love the black and pink.
This kinda looks like your blog banner. Very pretty! I love the shimmer on the cupcakes. What a cute stamp set.
Happy Halloween!
Like peeking through a window of a little French pastry shop! Love the black/pink color combo!
great job on the cupcakes…they look good enough to eat!!
This is so pretty, I love it!!
Oh la la is right. That is so cute. I could still get the same effect with the Stampin Up border punch and just punch my own holes couldn’t I? I love the pink and black combo. As soon as my order arrives, I’m doing it. Thanks
Hi Sandy:

Super cute card using Crazy for Cupcakes. Love the background stamp you used.
Really pretty card Mary!! That invites me to eat a cupcake right now, LOL, so now I wonder if instead of a chocolate cake should I make Birthday cupcakes???
I enjoy visiting your blog so much.
God bless
