More Occasions Mini Magic . . . this time it's about "love" and the delicious Summer Picnic Designer Series Paper. The three big stamps from Big on Spring (p. 12, Occasions Mini) are some of my all time favorites. TIP: It's a fun opportunity to get the splashy effect of stamping the image area on patterned paper and snipping, either the heart (as in today's card) or the onesie (done previously here).
The colors of the Summer Picnic paper (Almost Artichoke, Old Olive, Bashful Blue) seemed like the perfect backdrop for today's project. I began with a base of Always Artichoke and layered a flowery Summer Picnic Pattern and Whisper White.
The main image is inked in Always Artichoke and stamped on Whisper White. It's layered on Bashful Blue and Always Artichoke. I stamped the heart image a second time on a bit of Bashful Blue Polka Dot (taken from the Prints Pack, Hostess Level I), cut out and mounted on Stampin' Dimensionals.
I then backed it with some luscious Summer Picnic striped paper matted on Always Artichoke. TIP: The perfect touches are a combination of Olive Flower Fusion felt flowers and Rhinestone Circle Brads. They are layered on a small strip of Whisper White and Always Artichoke.
Hugs and Pretties . . . . M

I saw this beautiful card and had to make it myself! Just lovely!
love it! i’m really staring to feel the need for summer!! i really love this layout…and the felt flowers…to delicious!:)
This is beautiful. You’ve used one of my favorite pieces of paper, and I haven’t used the felt flowers in a while – so that’s a good reminder. Beautiful card. Joan
Hi Joan:
Once I saw the paper and colors, I thought it would work just fine with “love.” Whoever thought “Love” required only pink and red was nutso 🙂

An absolutely delightful card! I love the color combination. Easy to convert to red and white for Valentine’s Day also. Thanks Mary
How sweet, this is so cute, I may need this stamp.
Every time I see this set, I {heart} it more! Really striking done simply in artichoke on white. Have a good Sunday!
