Sweeeeeeeet! That defines the Wild About You stamp set. I think every animal is adorable (usually, I think one animal in an animal set is a clunker) and its perfect for juvenile or even fun teen or adult cards. For example, consider this same card for a teenager or friend with a Purely Pomegranate giraffe, Pixie Pink bird and Berry Bliss paper–completely redefined. Lovely with a gift of chocolate!
Jersey Shore Designer Paper is layered on Brilliant Blue and Whisper White Card stock. The horizontal banner is a coordinating pattern from Jersey DP (snipped just the Brilliant Blue polka dot pattern from a larger piece of mixed patterns) matted on Pumpkin Pie.
The giraffe is Pumpkin Pie stamped on Whisper White card stock. TIP: There are no "In Color" markers (just the other 48 colors) so I didn’t have a Wild Wasabi option to isolate a single word in the sentiment. However, I covered all but the word "wild" with a sticky note, inked it on my Wasabi pad, removed the sticky and stamped. Oh, how I wish Stampin’ Up! would make markers for the In Colors. However, this alternative works well. I used markers to isolate different colors for "about" and "you!" You will need to clean the stamp between each color 🙂 The giraffe layer is followed by Brilliant Blue and Bashful Blue card stock.
The little bird is Brilliant Blue on Whisper White card stock, punched with a 3/4" circle punch, matted on a 1" Circle of Brilliant Blue. The scalloped flower is the following combination, from top to bottom: Bashful Blue Brad, Flower Fusion Felt Flower, Bashful Blue punched with 3/4" Circle Punch, polka dot Jersey Designer Paper punched with 1 3/8" Circle Punch and, finally, a quick snap of a Scalloped Circle Punch on Wild Wasabi Textured card stock. Stampin’ Up!’s textured card stock is fabulous.
