Stamping Notes of Love

Here’s a fun and unique layout that really shows off Stampin’ Up!’s  "Always" heart image.  I stamped the
card base with the "Always" stem in Real Red and Blue Bayou.  The Polka Dot Background was inked in Blue Bayou, stamped on Soft Sky card stock and cut per the layout.  I created a scalloped Blue Bayou border using my Corner Rounder Punch.

The heart was dipped in Versamark, stamped on Blue Bayou card stock and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  Yummy shine!  I then snipped it out and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals onto Soft Sky card stock (stamped with the Canvas Background in Blue Bayou).  I clipped the corners with a ticker corner punch, attached it to a Real Red mat and added some dark blue snaps with my Crop-A-Dile. 

For the sentiment, the text "Note of Love" was isolated by covering the additional text on the stamp( that wouldn’t fit in my intended rectangle) with a sticky note and inking in Blue Bayou.  I removed the sticky and stamped on Whisper White card stock.  I added Papertrey’s Borders and Corners Rectangle stamp and punched it all out with a Marvy Scalloped Rectangle Punch.  The final touch is a Real Red flower popped out of the Boho Blossoms punch.  Dimensionals were used to give the sentiment some zowie power.
