Stamping In Color 101

Stamping_girl
I have done a little "redecorating" on my blog.  A shot of new colors kick off the Valentine’s Day holiday and echoes one of my favorite Stampin’ Up! color combinations, Groovy Guava and Chocolate Chip.

Today, I grabbed Close to Cocoa, Pretty in Pink and Purely Pomegranate for this birthday card for my  daughter (details below in "Purely Pomegranate" font), but am simply itching to receive my new Stampin’ Up! Berry Bliss Designer Series Paper (Spring Summer 110749), which uses them beautifully.  This card is my "interpretation" of Splitcoast Stampers Sketch Challenge 144.

There are a few new features on the stampin’ pretty blog, too.  Sweet Sentiments (right sidebar) has been added to show off some of the wonderful comments I have recently received regarding my easy on-line order for Stampin’ Up! merchandise and the personal attention my customers receive.  I also created an about page, with a few snippets about my background, my passion for stamping and my family, for any inquiring minds.

Also, please don’t hesitate to hit the "Live Help" button any time it says "Mary’s On-Line" (located on the top right sidebar of the blog).  I’m often on-line (or up late stamping) and would be happy to answer questions in "real time" anytime I’m available (or just shoot the breeze about stamping).  Those who have tried it, love it.

BRIGHT IDEA:  Color can make or
break some of the most beautiful cards.  I use color throughout my
home, to create angles, architecture and mood.   If you feel like
experimenting with Stampin’ Up! colors or visualizing color
combinations, discover this wonderful color combination website.
