Buttons and Blooms

Stamping_buttons_and_blooms
The Perfect Touch?  Buttons!  This was a fun and quick card (look ma, only one stamp 🙂 which combines Splitcoast Challenges "Ways to Use" WT147 (anything flowers) and "Limited Supplies" LSC149 (any card stock but white or vanilla shades).   The Bag ‘O Buttons that had been collecting dust (relax, I’m talking figuratively, not literally) got a little action today and was perfect for a funky border.   I used Mini Glue Dots to adhere the buttons . .  they worked like a charm.  No wardrobe failure here!

My colors came from Stampin’ Up!’s four different color groups (Pumpkin Pie/Earth Elements, Pink Passion/Bold Brights, Apricot Appeal/Soft Subtles and Purely Pomegranate/In Color).  All seemed to enjoy hanging out together (despite being a bit wild and wacky).  Stampin’ Up’s textured cardstock (here in Purely Pomegranate) is absolutely divine.  It gives the most luscious texture.

Stamp Sets:  Warm Words II (retired, but Wonderful Words I is almost identical in style, 103875)
