I’m the "official" host of my neighborhood book group in January. Bookmarks seemed like an appropriate little surprise for each member. The stamp set is a retired hostess set (The Art of Life) but any long stemmed flower will do. The stemmed flower from Embrace Life (111011) from the new Spring Summer collection would be an amazing option watercolored. I chose Rose Red and Old Olive markers to isolate colors for the flower and stem. I stamped the sentiment (Henry David Thoreau) on the back and added a large eyelet with my Crop-A-Dile. A peek of ribbon adds a delightful accent. It has a beautiful, rich watercolor look but was so easy.
