September Pals Blog Hop

2013sephop_badge

Thank you for joining us for the September Pals Blog Hop. This
month we are showcasing projects made with the Stampin’ Up! tools we
love.
You should have just left stop number 12 on the Pals Hop – Linda Callahan’s Stampin’ Seasons Blog.  If so, you are in the right spot.
If you get off track, the full blog lineup below will help you move along
from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations.

I selected the Stampin’ Up! Chalk Talk Framelits Dies as my tool of choice for the hop.  They not only crop the Chalk Talk stamp set tags with perfection, they will crop many other tags, sentiments or even a “cut out” window as I did in gingham (Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper) on today’s card.

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIP:  If the side you cut with a Framelits die leaves a bit of an embossed line behind, “iron” it by smoothing with a Bone Folder or plan your crop to flip the opposite side up.

  1. Mary, this card gave me a great jump start to a masculine thank you note. I like how the layout lends itself well to Very Vanilla, too! TFS

  5. Well, that is a great tip! I noticed the line when I made my first decco label. I will have to keep that in mind. I love the ‘window effect’ you made with the tag die and the Gingham paper underneath. Really neat and I will try this. I really like how you put the sentiment on the tag! Thank you so much for sharing with us.
