I Made It!

1234167_10200746823937009_2114121401_nLast week in St. George, UT.

Many of you were following and cheering for me on my Stampin’ Pretty Facebook Page yesterday when I reported that I was nearing my $500,000 milestone for lifetime Stampin’ Up! sales.  Well, I made it and want to thank all of you–customers, fellow demonstrators, Stampin’ Up!, my Stampin’ Pretty Pals, family and friends–from the bottom of my heart for supporting me in this crazy, fun, virtual and tangible world of paper, stamps and ink!

I reached the $500,000 benchmark yesterday morning, triggered by an on-line order from Jennie Burbidge.  I called Jennie yesterday to share my good news (and her part in it) and ordered her the Chalktalk Framelits Bundle (her pick) as a thank you gift!

I have come a long way from a person who, just over 6 years ago, pre-judged crafts as hobbies for little old ladies wearing saggy nylon anklets and floppy hats with flowers at the church bazaar.  Never did I dream that after giving paper crafting a try (my first and only craft to date), that friendships (both live and virtual), an artistic outlet and many smiles would follow on my journey as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator.  What a gift!  I love this gig!
