Stampin up stampinup pretty order online saleabration feeling sentimental masculine card ideas
Can you believe we are down to the very LAST day of Sale-A-Bration?  Today’s card is a final salute to one of the most popular Sale-A-Bration stamp sets, Feeling Sentimental.  I love how this set transcends vintage to modern using Rich Razzleberry, crisp elements and lots of white.

PLEASE SHARE what you think of today’s card with a comment below!  I love reading them and responding to your questions!

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • The Crumb Cake “frame” is popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals for a very 3-D effect.

  • The bicycle image fits neatly inside the circle cropped with the Stampin’ Up! 2 1/2″ Circle Punch.
  • The Rich Razzleberry Button (Sycamore Street Ribbon & Button Pack) and patterned paper (Sycamore Street Designer Series paper) are both Sale-A-Bration exclusive products.

  • A snippet of Linen Thread gives a polished finish to the button.  The button is adhered with a Stampin’ Up! Glue Dot.

  5. Wow! I got in under the deadline to get this stamp set! I cannot wait till it arrives and I can use it. I have intentions of also using it in scrapbooking too! My Great Grand-parents lived in a part of towm called Island Park and it was known way back as a great Amusement Park, ferris wheel and all! The hurricane of 1938 wiped out the park and sadly I lost my Great Grand-parents in that storm. My Grand-mother related the story and I am able to get a hold of some pics for scrapbooking and some are of the old Island Park Amusement Park. So I have a little sentimental feeling for this set too! Glad I ordered in time! By the way Island Park is still a populated community and it sit along the east side of Aquidneck Island in Portsmouth and although the amusement park is gone, many people rebuilt and continue to thrive today. Oh, Grandpa built a new house across the street from the old house that was washed away in the storm. The house is still there today!

  8. As a fellow SU! Demonstrator, I am sad to see this year’s SAB end. The selection of stamps appeases both the classic and modern stamper. I love the punch of color and classic element this card to blend both styles– almost enough to make me get the set! But, alas, I stick to my modern stampin’ style. Thank you for such a wonderful website. You INSPIRE me!

  11. OH! I love this framed window! I had to look closely to see that the banner is behind it all with the white piece stamped, THEN the frame. {dropping this into my CArd Ministry folder} The men in our church are going to love our creativity! TFS, Celia

  13. Mary – I just totally love your style. I don’t think you’ve made a card that I didn’t love. This card is no exception. I love how you made a frame for the focal image and popped it up. Your cards are clean, simple, and quickly doable. My style of card making all the way. While I don’t often take the time to post a comment, (My husband thinks I spend too much time on the computer as it is, but what does he know!) just know I love all your cards and projects. Thanks for sharing your delightful talent with us all.

  14. Love the building dynamics of the card, color, dimension, etc. I do however don’t use buttons because of mailing issues. Not sure why SUp doesn’t make flatter buttons to use on cards. Once again, thanks so much for your daily ideas. By far the best!
